Ryota Moriyama, a senior at Kyoritsu University, receives a job offer at a first-rate company but gets dumped by Saki Nishino. His professor tells him that he can graduate on the condition that he joins the sumo club and competes in at least one match. With only a single member, Honoka Oba, for the past two years, the sumo club is on the brink of collapse. In order to graduate, Ryota endures Honoka’s strict training methods and starts to recruit other members.

The romantic comedy and drama follows the manga of the same name and follows the adventures of cute and coquettish schoolgirl Shirabaka Aya and nerd of a man Tairaku Arihiko. There is a problem or two. Aya loves Arihiko. Arihiko is a school teacher. Aya is a student at the school. Aya's father is a yakuza thug. Aya and Arihiko live in the same apartment. Aya is hot. Arihiko could lose his job.

教師の身でありながら、白樺綾（森川彩香）の父親（堀正彦）であるヤクザの組長が経営する風俗店の店長代理を任されてしまった大楽有彦（馬場良馬）。店の人気ヘルス嬢・舞（麻里梨夏）に慕われて有頂天になるが、彼女が母親の入院代を工面しようと借金をしていたことを知って100万円を渡してしまう。一方の綾は、人形オタク・日下部雄一（遊佐航）の家に招かれ、友人のいない孤独な彼の姿に心を痛める。日下部の遊び相手になってやろうと彼の家に行こうとする自分を心配する大楽に、早く帰宅すると約束する綾。だが、夜になっても彼女は戻らず……。

一見エキセントリックな設定の人物を主人公として誰もが感じる老いへの恐怖や若さへの憧憬、
性への渇望といった普遍的なテーマを描くことで、セクシャリティや性癖に関係なく、
みな同じ心を持ち、悩み、感情を揺らして生きる人間であることを浮かび上がらせたいと考え
この作品を企画しました。
また人の性癖を奇異なものとして描かない＝「変態」を面白がる描写にしないことがこの狙いにおいて重要なポイントだと考えています。
