生活在森林中的猫咪们，各自拥有截然不同的个性与生活方式。龙仿佛是为了报答母猫的恩情，始终陪伴在森林里的猫咪们身边，并守护着它们。猫咪们亲昵地称呼它为「翅膀大叔」。

The Three-Eyed One is a romance SF manga by Osamu Tezuka. It was originally serialized in Weekly Shōnen Magazine from 7 July 1974 through 19 March 1978 and was later published into thirteen tankōbon by Kodansha. This story is about Hosuke Sharaku, the heir to the long lost super civilization of the "Three Eyed Ones", and his best friend, Chiyoko Wato, with whom he solves various problems, often of his own doing.

In 1977, The Three-Eyed One tied with another Tezuka manga, Black Jack, for the Kodansha Manga Award. The manga has since spawned a TV special by Shueisha and later an anime whose 48 episodes ran from 18 October 1990 through 26 September 1991. The main character appears in three video games: Mittsume ga Tooru by Natsume on the MSX in 1989, Mittsume ga Tooru/The Three-Eyed One by Tomy on the NES in 1992, Astro Boy: Omega Factor by Sega on the Game Boy Advance and Astro Boy by Sega on the PlayStation 2.

Long ago, the gate to the world of darkness was sealed. Now evil warriors, known as Remnants, are trying to reopen the gate and let demons take over the world. However, at Tobira High School, there exist guardians of the gate who must risk their lives to prevent the gate from being opened.

Kimizuka Kimihiko is a crisis-magnet. So it is no surprise when his rather mundane flight suddenly enters a state of emergency with a dire need of a detective onboard. Unfortunately, his attempt at avoiding trouble is foiled by a beautiful girl with silver hair who goes by the codename Siesta. Declaring herself a detective, she unceremoniously drags Kimizuka into the case as her assistant. That incident spelled the beginning of an adventure around the globe that went beyond his wildest imagination. Putting their lives on the line, the two took down criminal organizations, prevented disasters, and saved thousands. But the curtain closed to their epic journey with Siesta's untimely death three years later. One sunny day invaders came from space. They weren't little green men or funny girls wearing school uniforms, though. They were ugly robots which defeated the UN forces in seconds. After that the invaders (known as "eyeballs") roamed around and observed human society. In fact, they were peaceful unless attacked. They were polite and followed all the traffic laws, too. Still, they were aliens and the people of Earth wanted them to go home. The Kitanohashi High School Magic Club took it on themselves to defeat these foul robots and free the world.

Amidst a blizzard caused by UMA Winter, Billy receives a report on the Autumn battle and learns Undead and Unluck are evolving. Juiz appears, revealing to him that the artifacts are weapons meant to defeat God and that the Ark can only perform one more loop. She urges Billy to join forces once more and stake everything on Unluck to achieve their shared goal: "defeat God." However, Billy declares that they cannot work together. Juiz realizes Billy's true intention—to obtain Ark and Apocalypse—but before she can act, Billy drags them into a brutal clash involving UMAs on both sides. Resolute in their own "justice," Juiz presses forward with her blade, while Billy counters by utilizing other Negators' abilities and his pistol. What is Billy's true objective? Meanwhile, Andy and Fuko, having captured Autumn's core, are en route by air to take down Summer. The world is on the verge of changing from an old fashioned society to a new world, due to issues such as gender, race and compliance along with technological innovations such as an evolving AI. Even in this world where black and white is now gray, we believe that "love" will always exist but in myriad forms and not just between people. The storyline revolves around class 3-Z's students and their wacky homeroom teacher Ginpachi-sensei.

Hakushaku to Yōsei is a series of light novels written by Mizue Tani and published in Japan by Shueisha. The story is serialized in Cobalt magazine and illustrated by Asako Takaboshi.

Shueisha has commercially released two drama CDs and a manga adaptation has begun serialization in The Margaret since the September issue in 2008.

An anime adaptation was broadcast from September to December 2008. A visual novel for the PlayStation 2 was released on April 30, 2009.
