Adapted from Alice Ferney’s novel L’Intimité, the story revolves around Sandra, a fiercely independent fifty-year-old who suddenly and unwillingly finds herself sharing space with her neighbour and his two children. Against all odds, she slowly grows attached to this adoptive family. But who is she in their eyes? And what are they to her?
