本片以湘南的江之岛为舞台，围绕岛上四个少年真田雪、春、宇佐美夏树、阿基拉·安格鲁卡鲁·山田展开。高中生真田雪（逢坂良太 配音）是个转校生，他不善于与人交往，还经常会因为紧张而露出可怕的表情。春（入野自由 配音），自称是从宇宙来地球钓鱼的外星人，他不仅擅自住在雪家，还邀请雪钓鱼。没有一个朋友的雪，因为春的出现而参加到钓鱼这项活动中。随后他们又结识了在江之岛土生土长的、有超强钓鱼技术的"钓鱼王子"——宇佐美夏树（内山昂辉 配音），还认识了神秘转校生、印度人阿基拉·安格鲁卡鲁·山田（杉田智和 配音）。
春以“只有我们才能拯救地球”为理由，一直强迫雪学钓鱼，无可奈何的雪便向夏树请教钓鱼技巧。另一方面，神秘印度人阿基拉因为接受了组织的任务，一直在暗中观察着他们几人。这四个人的相遇，会碰撞出怎么样的青春火花呢？
