After a terrible fight with her conservative parents, 19-year-old Mina moves in with her sister Mandy, who works a prostitute. Mina finds love when she meets Tony, a DJ with financial problems. But two sinister debt collectors give them a drastic ultimatum: they have three days to raise 11 000 Euros. Mandy’s advice to Mina is a diabolic one: to sell the costliest thing she possesses, her virginity.

Otis and Eddie have been best friends since childhood and live in Berlin on a day-to-day basis. No prospects, only the big dream of music. When one day a record label becomes aware of them, nothing stands in the way of living out this dream. But the record label likes to interfere and the friendship is put to the test.

In 1939, Czech diplomat Jan Masaryk flees to the United States to escape his recent past: Germany has invaded Czechoslovakia and he is now a man with no nation; because, as the Czechoslovak ambassador in London, he failed to win the support of the British and could not avert the fall of his country and the outbreak of the World War II.
