Disco 3 is the thirteenth album by the UK electronic music duo Pet Shop Boys. It was released in 2003. It consists of five remixes of songs and B-sides from their previous album, Release, three new tracks, a new recording of "Positive role model" from their 2001 musical Closer to Heaven, and a cover version of "Try it (I'm in love with a married man)", originally by Oh Romeo, band of former Pet Shop Boys producer Bobby Orlando.
"Somebody Else's Business" and "Positive Role Model" were destined for their cancelled hits compilation in 2000. "Positive Role Model" also appeared on the Germany-only single, "London" in 2002.
"If looks could kill" and "Try it..." debuted during a 2002 Peel Session, along with "A powerful friend", a song that remained unreleased until it was uploaded to the "Exclusives Tracks" section of the band's official website.[1] It was also released as the b-side to their 2010 single "Love Life".
This album has been released with the Copy Control protection system in some regions.

菲年度國語專輯《寓言》仍由她的老搭檔製作人ALVIN LEONG及張亞東製作，金曲獎最佳作詞人林夕負責所有的文字創作，整張專輯有10首國語歌曲，2首廣東歌，曲風相當多元化。
最值得一提的是，王菲這次自己創作了五首歌曲，一開始就希望是能有一個主題,是有畫面的。而林夕還是選擇了"愛情"這個主題，將＜寒武紀＞＜新房客＞＜香奈兒＞＜阿修羅＞＜彼岸花＞，這五首歌用概念相連的文字來表達愛情的始末，而這5首歌曲也都是由張亞東製作。
寒武紀：八千萬年前天地初開第一紀，代表愛情的開始。
新房客：地球飯店人來人往都有緣結識新鄰居，代表喜歡的人出現了。
香奈兒：可穿戴、可炫耀、可虛榮，代表第三者出現了
阿修羅：天龍八部之一，以毀滅為樂，代表在愛情中的好鬥善妒。
彼岸花：佛家語。代表愛情就算沒有結果，也會在彼岸開出花朵。 而且這個概念不只成立在音樂上，在影像上這5支音樂錄影帶，都有關連性，就像是一部迷你電影。以音樂為出發點，將概念完整呈現，這樣的手法可說是國語歌壇的第一。

專輯目前選出的主打歌，除了首支單曲＜笑忘書＞已經造成一股媒體的"情書"追逐熱之外，＜香奈兒＞是王菲自己寫的曲，王菲說林夕的詞是描寫現代人對愛情比較兒戲的態度。還有＜你喜歡不如我喜歡＞基本上可視為＜你快樂所以我快樂＞的續篇，這次的音樂菲迷絕對不會失望。
這張《寓言》專輯也是王菲首度將整張專輯的混音後製工程在英國完成的作品，她並表示正計劃在下一張專輯能和一些國外優秀的樂手、錄音師、詞曲作者或製作人等有音樂上的真正合作。
