The film tells the story of a family that is on the verge of breaking up as a result of slander. Sabahat spends her days doing housework, taking care of her mischievous child, and dealing with her grumpy mother-in-law. Cemal, who returns home exhausted from work, struggles with Sabahat's complaints every night. Arguments between them become increasingly frequent. Mualla, their neighbor who has been in love with Cemal for years, takes advantage of this tense atmosphere.
