Cemal, who returns home exhausted from work, struggles with Sabahat's complaints every night. Arguments between them become increasingly frequent. Mualla, their neighbor who has been in love with Cemal for years, takes advantage of this tense atmosphere. When Cemal kicks Sabahat out of the house after an argument, Mualla sees this as an opportunity to put her plan into action.
