It is a fictionalised biographical study of the latter half of the reign of George III of the United Kingdom, his battle with mental illness and the inability of his court to handle his condition. It was adapted for film in 1994 as The Madness of King George.

The League of Gentlemen Are Behind You! is a pantomime-themed stage show by The League of Gentlemen. It was their second major UK tour; it premiered in 2005. The whimsical, pantomime nature of the show was a departure from their trademark dark humour. Almost all the material performed was new and original.

The League of Gentlemen return to the stage in 2018 for their first UK tour in over 12 years with their brand new live show ‘The League of Gentlemen Live Again!’.
