I swear down, the first time I watched this film a few years ago on the TV, IT WAS DIFFERENT. I've looked for any information on different cuts of the film, but all I could find was the info about the planned Director's Cut, that can never be made due to the lost footage. But I'm positive, that I saw a different film. I clearly remember, when the crew first boarded Event Horizon and started exploring the ship, there were rapid flashes of what had happened to the previous crew. You couldn't make out what's going on, but it created a sense of unease. I can remember it clearly because it was one of the things that struck me about this film. It was probably the first time I saw this technique (implemented this well?). I also feel like the film was longer and had less jump scares, but can't be sure about that. This time I was watching a Blu-ray version, so if you have any info about it being altered or something, please share.
