Instead of picking a side in the conflict, this film rather explores the overall tragedy and the loss of humanity, that occurs in the course of revolution. It portrays a person, that fits into neither of the two systems, yet can somehow exist in either one of them, like a satellite revolving around a planet. In the end though, the film asks a question, whether that kind of life is worth living.
