Bloom is the fourth studio album by American dream pop duo Beach House. It was co-produced by the band and Chris Coady, and was released on May 15, 2012, by Sub Pop, in Europe by Bella Union, in Australia by Mistletone Records, and in Mexico by Arts & Crafts. The album was written over two years of touring and was recorded at Sonic Ranch in Tornillo, Texas, over seven weeks. Building on their previous album, Teen Dream (2010), the duo continued to add live drums to their song arrangements for Bloom, supplementing their drum machine rhythms.

傻子與白痴，以一种荒诞的方式行走着。不索取不是因为无所求，沿途放荡也不是因为迷失方向。这一路总少不了要回忆和自我叩问，拼凑消逝时光，用空酒瓶敲打被挥霍的和被珍惜的。当个体和集体身份彼此拉扯，梦与现实相互交织，傻子與白痴终于找到了属于自己的位置。
在任何的时代里，总有人在夜里舍不得睡，执拗地往前赶路，只为多看一眼，被白昼掩盖的风景。

レコーディングにはViolinに原田百恵実、Saxにムラカミダイスケ、パーカッションに松下ぱなおなどのライブではおなじみのミュージシャンに加え、ベースに田口恵人(LUCKY TAPES)が参加している。

Tomboy is the upcoming fourth solo album by Animal Collective member Noah Lennox (stage name Panda Bear). According to his website, Tomboy is slated for release "near the end of 2010." Lennox has mentioned Tomboy will be a departure from his signature sound on Person Pitch and Animal Collective's Merriweather Post Pavilion. About the new direction, Lennox said: "I got tired of the severe parameters of using samplers. Thinking about Nirvana and the White Stripes got me into the idea of doing something with a heavy focus on guitar and rhythm."

"Third album 'We Must Become The Pitiless Censors Of Ourselves' breaks new ground for Maus. The shirt pulling and air punching of his impassioned live performance is finally captured in all its frenzied appeal alongside a tender inner space. After stretching muscles with opener "Streetlight", arpeggiators bubble up to new levels with "Quantum Leap", a song full of dead zones, glancing slaps and oscillating solos.

"Heart to heart, mind to mind, we are the ones who seem to travel through time," intones Maus resolutely through the mist. John's lyrics are as likely to touch upon themes of Cronenberg gore just as much as the musings of Jacques Rancière. It's this no-brow approach that makes things interesting, casting Maus as a savant and allowing his music to startle us in ways whereby we open up to the unimaginable.

Washed Out is Ernest Greene, a young guy from Georgia (via South Carolina) who makes bedroom synthpop that sounds blurred and woozily evocative, like someone smeared Vaseline all over an early OMD demo tape, then stayed up all night trying to recreate what they heard.
There’s a sense of longing and distance in Greene’s somber, filtered vocals, but it’s what he does compositionally that makes Washed Out stand out. Backed by gently pulsing, Balearic-tinged disco, Greene’s voice takes on a new dimension. Reminiscent of groups like The Glass and the Chromatics, Washed Out is the music to end your night with, when the city is quiet and the walk home, long.

Underneath the Pine is the second album from the artist Toro y Moi, released on February 22, 2011 on Carpark Records. The album was given the "Best New Music" designation by Pitchfork and they placed the album at number 48 on its list of the "Top 50 albums of 2011".
