Endtroducing..... is the debut album by American music producer DJ Shadow, released on September 16, 1996 by Mo' Wax. It is composed almost entirely of samples, mostly from vinyl records, and features moody, slow tracks and upbeat jams reminiscent of Shadow's early hip hop influences.

Issued in a double-gatefold sleeve, containing 2 printed inner sleeves. As opposed to the UK edition of this LP, cover shows "Parental Advisory Explicit Content". It's interesting to notice Monosylabik to be the last song of the release, when ending track for other commercial releases is the (Letter From Home).

Japanese edition of his 1998 offering for Mo Wax with two bonus tracks: 'The Number Song' (Cut Chemist Remix) and 'Painkiller' (Kill The Pain Mix), both from the 'Pain Killer' 12in that was limited to 2,000 copies worldwide. Also has different artwork than the U.S. release & comes packaged in a gatefold miniaturized LP sleeve.

三月的时候，DJ Shadow从前的首张专辑Entroducing被再版，这实在是碎拍电子乐迷的福音，上月(五月)，这位革新派抽象Hip-Hop开山祖师还为自己的新专辑THE PRIVATE PRESS展开了英国巡演。假如DJ Shadow新专辑像六年前的Entroducing一样再版自己招牌式的缥缈Hip-Hop，他难免会被"固步自封"“新意欠奉”之类的评论所诟病。那么继续潜行于采样音乐的前端呢？又难免会开罪原有的大批乐迷。DJ Shadow由此选择了一条折中路线，提前发行的单曲'You Can't Go Home Again'便可见一斑。专辑中曲目之间并不像以前那样具有细致入微的精巧衔接，更像是艰涩的新奇试探，一丝不苟但却充满不确定感，'You Can't Go Home Again'便是一曲ska风格的电音摇滚曲目，'Monosyllabik'则大胆不羁的融合了简约主义和碎拍电子。另一方面，DJ Shadow依然用他的迷幻Hip-Hop制造了'Giving Up The Ghost", 'Mongrel. . . Meets His Maker'这样具有流行讨巧性的时尚作品。
DJ Shadow在2002年正式推出了这张The Private Press,在这张专辑的发行时DJ Shadow同时在英国举行了为期三日的巡演,在那里人们一睹了DJ Shadow运用4台Turntables加现场鼓手合奏的精彩表演.此作中的Six Days取样自60年代老团Procol Harum的作品,此曲后由拍玉兰油广告的新加坡广告女明星和张震在王家卫的导演下拍成MTV曾在Channel [V]上播过.

如今的DJ五花八门，各路货色、有料没料逮到一点音乐元素又没水准自己搞原创音乐的都贴个DJ标签，好歹也算是有个体面的音乐人标签了。
能称之DJ应该对音乐有敏锐的触觉，对选取编曲有独到的见第，对打碟之类的基本功也不能忽视，现在多少专辑轰轰烈烈出到几十集，下面贴个“Mixed By 某某某”，事实上放在播放器里也只是吭哧吭哧单调地BASS你几十分钟而已，中途换歌了还是跳针了你也许根本不会有感觉。

Set to release as a double album, part 1 of Our Pathetic Age includes 11 genre-bending instrumental tracks.
