just noticed a testflight bug report lying around from a few weeks ago about errors uploading to pixelfed.social, workaround in the latest #fedicat build, the problem is explained in this #impressia issue (they were on the ball and implemented a workaround in May)
next #Fedicat build you can mute a followed account via the long press menu, for those cases where you want to temporarily mute without unfollowing
