You can just do it: it&#x27;s free and no one can stop you!</p><p>If you don&#x27;t want to see a bunch of snarky posts about a bad movie, you can mute the hashtag. In the Mastodon web UI, you do this by clicking on the hashtag, selecting the option to mute it, and making a new filter to hide all posts with the hashtag. You&#x27;ll make the Baby Godzilla cry but it&#x27;s okay, Godzilla is tough and all. Not even the entire Japanese army, air force, and navy working together can get Godzilla down, not really.</p>
