《不能说的秘密》是周杰伦首部自导自演电影作品，从原创故事、演出、配乐、甚至是影片剪接都亲力亲为，这部电影作品对他来说意义非凡。从音乐人转化成电影人的他，第一部作品的题材就是他最爱的音乐；他的音乐作品中蕴藏着强烈的电影感，他的电影作品则弥漫着独特的旋律与节奏，以意想不到的方式牵动着观影者的情绪；他，说故事的功力和写歌一样厉害。
从拍MV拍出兴趣，拍电影时在旁自学演戏与导戏，进而筹划拍摄电影，这一切在旁人眼里看来似乎特别容易，但是对杰伦而言，每一步都是投注极大的心力与专注力，甚至到超乎想象的状况，从电影开始的每个细节，包含场景、选角、脚本、工作团队、剪接、后制特效，甚至在首映当天，因为不满意冲出来的A拷贝画质，要求重新冲片，因为来不及在首映前确认，所以请制片在首映播映现场盯看，随时与放映室联络，这实在是前所未有的情况，一切只为了作品的质量。
当画面播放琴谱字幕时，情绪就随着第一个流泄的音符，牵引起伏着直到黑幕上工作人员名单升起…泪，终于溃堤。
古典优雅、浪漫而悬疑的配乐 张力十足
电影主题曲“不能说的秘密”当然也不假他人之手，杰伦以英式摇滚曲风，谱出带点悬疑色彩的浪漫爱情故事，用不同以往坚毅笃定的钢琴弹奏方式，从头不间断地延续着孤独沧桑的气息，简单却打动人心，歌曲最后的结尾用钟声来表达对校园的怀念。
首波电影主题曲创新作法在在线音乐独卖造成话题；但是为了让整部电影作品的生命延续与完整，杰伦还是在百忙中完成这张原声带的制作，精彩结合电影与音乐，这是其它导演或是歌手一辈子都不太可能做到的，但是杰伦以无比的毅力与超能力达成了！
配乐部分，杰伦则邀请到泰国配乐大师Terdsak Janpan一同创作，促成两位合作的原因，是杰伦当初想找制作电影配乐的音乐人合作，在制片找来许多人的作品中，杰伦特别喜爱Terdsak Janpan在电影《鬼宿舍》的配乐，浪漫中带着浓厚的悬疑；每一首配乐都是电影片段一完成，就火速送到泰国给Terdsak Janpan，针对画面与杰伦不断沟通讨论、修改后完成的；两人对此次的合作成果都觉得非常满意，这次的跨国合作说明了：音乐无国界！

Alex Somers is an American visual artist and musician from Baltimore, Maryland, who attended Berklee College of Music and Listaháskóli Íslands. Somers runs a recording studio in downtown Reykjavík where he has produced, engineered, and mixed since 2010.

Daughter has unveiled a partnership with Square Enix, publisher of award winning and best selling videogame franchises such as Final Fantasy and Tomb Raider, to create an original musical score for their highly anticipated new game Life Is Strange : Before The Storm. The entire soundtrack entitled Music from Before the Storm will be released digitally on September 1, 2017. The game also includes three songs from Daughter’s back catalogue.
Before The Storm is the prequel to Life is Strange, the hugely successful BAFTA award winning narrative driven game released in 2015. It was a boundary breaking videogame, with principal characters drawn from real life facing everyday issues, touching upon difficult situations such as bullying, suicide, teen pregnancy as well as tackling the complexities of love and friendship. The original game was celebrated for the strength of its music, and Daughter’s involvement in the next instalment is a brilliant continuation in the franchise’s development.
“We are so proud to have written the soundtrack for Life Is Strange: Before The Storm. It was our first experience working on an original soundtrack, and we are so honoured to have been given the opportunity to work with the team,” remarks Daughter singer Elena Tonra. “We loved the story on first read as it centres around realistic female lead characters who are emotional, intelligent, sensitive and badass in equal measure. I think the characters themselves have really inspired the soundscapes we have created. It was a pleasure to be involved.”
“We wanted to have fun with this project so we made something we felt could be a soundtrack for the characters in the game themselves. It was also important for us to make sure this collection of songs and pieces of music stood on their own so we really went that extra mile. We hope players and non players alike will equally enjoy it,” notes founding member Igor Haefeli.
Life Is Strange: Before The Storm is set in Arcadia Bay, three years before the events of the first game in the series. Players will take on the role of a rebellious 16 year old Chloe Price who forms an unlikely friendship with Rachel Amber; a beautiful and popular girl destined for success. When Rachel’s world is turned upside down by family secret, it takes this new found alliance to give each other the strength to overcome their demons.

Mica Levi, also known by her stage name Micachu, is an English singer, songwriter, composer and producer. She is classically trained and since 2008 has released experimental pop music with her band Good Sad Happy Bad, including their critically praised debut album Jewellery in 2009.
