美籍日裔新世纪钢琴家、作曲家（玛丽卡·竹内）2014年新世纪冥想钢琴音乐演奏专辑。
本辑音乐创作灵感来自于日本京都秋天的落叶。
出生在日本川崎，自3岁起学习古典钢琴和演奏小提琴，圆号，现居住在美国马萨诸塞州波士顿。

Born in Kawasaki, Japan, Marika has played classical piano since the age of 3, played violin and french horn for years. Being influenced by film music and classical music, she is now based in Boston, working as a composer, pianist, arranger and orchestrator in the U.S and Japan. Some of Marika’s works include composition for TSO photography, Universal Music Japan, major Japanese television and so on.

日本人アーティス トとしてはトップとなるSpotify再生数を記録した「old lighthouse」やAmazon Prime（アメリカ）のTrending Movieチャートで1位を記録したハリウッド映画「Girl Lost」のエンドロール曲「invasion」を収録した、ポストクラシカル、ポストロック、アンビエントの金字塔「into the shadows」のリリースから4年。壮大なシネマチックサウンドを特徴とするインストゥルメンタルバンドAnoiceが、メンバーであるTakahiro KidoとYuki Murataのソロプロジェクト、そしてサイドプロジェクトであるRiLFやfilmsやmizu amaneでのリリースを経て、ついにAnoiceとしての5枚目のフルアルバムにして最高傑作となる「Ghost in the Clocks」をリリース。壮大なオーケストレーションと鮮烈なノイズによる破壊的なまでに美しいサウンドスケープで構築され、世界中の音楽メディアの年間ベストアルバムスに選出されたサードアルバム「The Black Rain」のその後を描いた、まさにAnoiceの唯一無二のサウンドと言えるダークシネマチックな名作が誕生しました。

アルバムはエモーショナルなピアノ、ヴァイオリン、ヴィオラ、チェロ、フルートで構成された美しいオーケストラ、そしてエネルギッシュなリズムから作られており、特に収録曲である「time」や「heroes」はハリウッド映画のサウンドトラックを超える迫力のサウンドを特徴としている。また、村山由佳の同名小説をドラマ化して話題になったWOWOW連続ドラマ「ダブル・ファンタジー」でもリアレンジバージョンが挿入曲として使用された名曲「missing」やAnoiceのファーストアルバム「Remmings」に収録されている人気曲「Liange」を彷彿とさせる「it」などの、涙を誘う美しいメロディーを備えたクラシカル曲、そしてAnoiceのパンクスピリットを垣間見ることができるノイジーなロックチューン「rebirth」を収録。

今回、アートワークはサードアルバム「The Black Rain」と同じくイラストレーター新藤洋子が担当。CDとデジタルだけでなく、アナログレコードもプレスされ、世界中の音楽ストアで販売される。

Different Trainsを初めて聴いた時と同じような衝撃を感じました。

The Malady of Elegance is the second poetic full-length from Boston-based composer Keith Kenniff, better known to some as Helios. Taking cues from Corduroy Road, Keith again restricts himself to the piano in conjuring up his humble soundscapes and again the listener is pulled into a deep, meditative and filmic world as the notes glide to a slow, pensive meter. Keith's Two Point Discrimination EP was a collection of haunting experiments in form and sound, but The Malady of Elegance sees him back into the warming, homespun territory of Corduroy Road. That's not to say these compositions are upbeat, far from it in fact, but there are lines to be drawn to folk music, and while Keith no longer draws on the American Civil War as a primary influence, there is still the sense that the ghosts of old America haunt the keys. Since the release of Corduroy Road, Keith's music has become a staple of documentary filmmakers, feature film producers and even advertising, with Goldmund being the primary focus of this. Countless BBC documentaries and short films have been graced by his memorable compositions and needless to say, The Malady of Elegance will be equally as high-profile in these circles.

Calling All Dawns is a song-cycle in three movements: day, night and dawn. Each movement corresponds to a different phase of life--life, death, and rebirth. In short, it's 5 songs about life, 3 songs about death, and 4 songs about rebirth. There are songs of joy, mystery, and hardship, reflecting the complexity of our mortal selves. There are songs of the deepest, darkest sorrow to accompany us through death. And finally, there are songs of triumph and exultation that bring us roaring back to life, beginning the cycle anew.

The twelve songs are sung in twelve languages, including Swahili, Mandarin, Hebrew, Irish, Farsi, and many more. The lyrics themselves come from a variety of sources, both sacred and secular: Japanese haiku, Maori proverbs, the Torah, the Bhagavad Gita, and many more. Each song flows seamlessly into the next, and the album ends on the same chord that it opens with--thereby representing the fluid, cyclical nature of the universe. It carries a strong message of unity: that regardless of race, culture and religious belief, we are all connected through our common human experience.
Calling All Dawns was recorded at the world-famous Abbey Road Studios with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Lucas Richman. Performers on the album include the Grammy-winning Soweto Gospel Choir, Grammy-nominated opera singer Frederica von Stade, Portuguese fado sensation Dulce Pontes, early-music quartet Anonymous 4, and Iranian singer Sussan Deyhim, J-Pop star Lia, and an ensemble of over 200 instrumentalists and singers. It was recorded and mixed by three-time Grammy-winning engineer John Kurlander.
Calling All Dawns is Christopher Tin's debut album. It was started in 2005, and released October 1st, 2009, nearly four years after its conception.
