Arctic Monkeys will release their fourth album, entitled 'Suck It and See' on Monday 6th June 2011. The album will be released in the US on Tuesday 7th June 2011.
'Suck It And See' features 12 new Arctic Monkeys songs and was produced by James Ford at Sound City Studios in Los Angeles.

The third studio album by Sheffield band Arctic Monkeys, as yet unnamed, will mark the band's first full length LP release since 2007's Favourite Worst Nightmare. The album will be released in the UK on 24 August 2009, following opening release in Japan on 19 August

Built on the powerful songwriting of Christopher Owens and the ethereal production of Chet "JR" White, Girls recorded Album in a variety of bedrooms and rehearsal studios in their adopted hometown, San Francisco. The resulting 12 tracks are the perfect San Fran summer record, evoking a narcotic, sunny afternoon in Dolores Park, yet promising the eventual hangover of summer's departure. Album is self-described as "honest, loose, ethereal, obnoxious and perfect," it is a sincere tribute to the majesty of great pop music and the healing power of rock and roll.

Last year, the wounded, starry-eyed San Francisco indie-pop group Girls released their debut album Album and made our year-end top 10. Before this year is up, they'll follow Album with a brand new EP. Broken Dreams Club is out November 22 on True Panther.
Broken Dreams Club includes six songs and lasts 30 minutes. JR White, Girls' instrumental guru, recorded it at the band's own home studio. And according to the music-selling site Interpunk, where you can now pre-order the EP, Broken Dreams Club features "a more massive, lusher sound with horns, pedal steel and psychedelic effects dappled throughout." On September 13th, 2011 San Francisco’s Girls will release their second album and third record Father, Son, Holy Ghost on True Panther Sounds and Turnstile in the UK/Europe. The album comes two years after their debut (Album), and one year after the follow-up EP (Broken Dreams Club).
On the third anniversary of the birth of Girls as a band Christopher Owens and Chet White found themselves entering the studio to begin recording their second album. More a collection of gear than a studio, recording took place in the bowels of a San Francisco office building. The two teamed up with new drummer Darren Weiss and guitarist John Anderson assembling performances and ultimately creating new music and musical relationships to carry the band through its newest incarnation.
Girls have taken what they’ve always done best and have displayed it with amazing clarity and the strongest of intent. Classic songwriting coupled with exciting production is their way. “I’m still all the same,” Owens says. “I still know I have to do it. I still love the songs and writing songs.”
Father. Son, Holy Ghost is at times ebullient and at times absolutely devastating. A truly beautiful record and the perfect amalgamation of a band’s past and present while most importantly leaving us all excited and hungry for their future.

2008 album from Miles Kane and his new outfit. Miles, formerly of the short-lived The Little Flames is perhaps more famous for his role in The Last Shadow Puppets with Arctic Monkey Alex Turner. Rascalize sees the band play a brand of raucous British Indie Rock inspired by the sounds of the '60s as well as contemporaries such as Arctic Monkeys, The Coral and The Zutons. 12 tracks including the single 'Freakbeat Phantom'. Don’t Forget Who You Are, from Miles Kane, will be released on Columbia Records in the late-Spring. After a busy start to 2013 spent putting the finishing touches to the much-anticipated follow-up to 2011’s acclaimed debut Colour of The Trap, as well as maintaining his status as a blistering live act on the recent NME Awards tour, Miles Kane’s intentions are plain to see. 2013 is his for the taking. Produced by Ian Broudie (The Zutons, Echo and the Bunnymen), Don’t Forget Who You Are, is an upbeat, contemporary record, with a nod to glam-rock, driving drumbeats and brimming with fierce riffs, as expertly demonstrated on recent single Give Up.

Miles Kane is releasing a new limited edition 7" single 'Come Closer' which includes three brand new exclusive tracks.
The 7" vinyl includes two Miles original songs Do I Want You? and Kaka Boom alongside a cover version of Jacques Dutronc's The Responsible.

"We just wanted to start a band that sounded like The Wake." say The Drums, "We heard their song 'Pale Spectre' and went crazy! Maybe our music didn't turn out sounding too much like The Wake but we're really just like everybody else, chasing that perfect pop song. And that's not so bad right?" Not so bad indeed!
