虽然是古龙的剧本，但很多地方没有后来的小说自洽。如果沈璧君的设定是连城璧的表妹，那她和萧十一郎后面的暧昧就显得很矫情。郎情妾意，你也不是有夫之妇，心里头那股纠结是从哪儿来的呢？而且，竟然没有风四娘洗脚？虽然这个风四娘我并不喜欢。

陈德录本职是无线电器行职员，但他及同事上班时却从不为电器售出多少台而为股票升了多少点疯狂，他的老婆（李燕萍）及在大学念书的小儿子阿才（何守信）亦常将从街头、教授口中听闻的股票消息透露给他，不过他在保卫公司做工的大儿子阿福（岳华）及其做小学教员的老婆阿芳（井莉）较为冷静。然而股指终狂跌令众全港市民皆做“大闸蟹”。
