寒冷的冰原上，松鼠Scrat正用他的大鼻子搜索着松果的所在地。突然，他的鼻子有了反应，就在不远处的悬崖边上，一棵大树脚下果然有一颗松果。虽然中间隔着深不见底的大峡谷，但是Scrat为了吃的从来毫不畏惧。他顺着结着冰凌的藤蔓爬了过去，可到了那里才发现松果不见了去向，而且树的另一头似乎还有什么生物存在。没过多久他见到了，那是一只和他长相极为相似的雌性佳人，对方也正琢磨着怎么弄开松果。Scrat想方设法要拿到果实，同时男子汉的自尊又不允许他欺负女性。

在很久很久以前，也就是寒冷的冰河时代，此时地球上的大陆还聚在一起，尚未分成五大洲七大洋。我们那拥有者极端坚忍力和执著精神的松鼠斯克莱特（Scrat），又再次为了挚爱的坚果创造出难以想象的奇迹。它将坚果插在冰原之上，没想到却导致大山裂开，斯克莱特尖叫着坠落下去，竟然一路坠 到了地核中央。无奈的是这个执着的家伙眼力只有坚果，它上下跑跳追逐，却不知自己的举动不仅促使大陆分裂，还致使新物种诞生以及各类名胜的出现。或者说，斯克莱特无意中成为了改造世界的上帝……

在一望无际蔚蓝深邃的大海上，松鼠斯克莱特（Scrat）正趴在浮冰上漫无边际地漂流。突然，他看到不远处矗立在大海中央的椰子树，他欣喜过往，奋力向小岛游去。好不容易游到了岛上，结果树旁边的白骨却吓得他魂飞魄散。他稍稍定下神来，偶然瞥见与沙滩接壤的海水底层有一枚坚果。为了坚果命都可以不要的斯克莱特一阵狂喜，竟然抱着巨石跳入海中。可是来到跟前却发现，那只是一枚坚果的外壳。他将壳翻了过来，意外发现壳的内部刻着金银宝藏的路线图。
福兮祸兮？斯克莱特还来不及思索时，意外突然降临……
