1991年万圣节“超载”乐队组建,是中国第一支激流金属风格的乐队,主要成员有主唱高旗、吉它手韩鸿宾、鼓手赵牧阳等。音乐风格在当时以狂放的吉它失真、高速猛烈的节奏以及狂野的台风为主。96年8月“超载”乐队推出首张专辑《超载》，其中收录了高旗七年间创作的十首作品，推出的时候，几乎舆论界的炮火都一致对准了这张唱片猛烈开火，但与批评界形成鲜明对比的是，“超载”的歌迷对这支乐队显示出了狂热的支持和理解。并取得了良好的销售成绩。
