From the unmistakable voice behind the closing theme song of <<保温>> of Mediacorp’s hit television drama series Little Nyonya <<小娘惹>>, Bevlyn Khoo (邱意淋) releases her third album <<Feel about you>> .This album features the never-been-released Chinese single <<保温>> and will be included as one of the three bonus tracks.
<<Feel about you>> aims to charm and soothe fans with an eclectic mix of tender love ballads and cover songs with a twist featuring fourteen songs (eleven in English and three in Mandarin). Singapore’s award winning female lyricist Xiaohan (小寒) who collaborated with Bevlyn on this album says “Bevlyn has a way of warming up everyone's heart with her unique voice” of which eight are original compositions by Bevlyn 意淋.
Her first English single from this album, <<A Love Song>> is inspired by Adam Sandler's <<Grow Old With You>> from movie soundtrack of “The Wedding Singer”. Bevlyn (意淋) wrote this love song for brides and grooms to put a smile on the one they love.
Bevlyn’s (意淋) first Chinese single from this album, <<我们要一直这么要好>> was co-written by multi-award winning lyricist Xiaohan 小寒. The lyric for this song was written in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake that hit Japan. The lyrics reflected her feelings on how lucky everyone is to be alive and in love. This coincided with what Bevlyn (意淋) had in mind for the song.
<<Feel About You>> features tender ballads penned by Bevlyn意淋 like “The Goodbye Waltz”, a song about meeting new people to reach Mr. Right and “Feel About You” which was inspired by renowned Taiwanese writer Zhang XiaoXian (張小嫻). This song depicts the sentiments of people who are “love mutes”.
“Song to Barbie” is an upbeat and quirky addition to the album written from her own experience and dedicated to all the ladies in hope that they will find time to read more.
The seventh original track on this album, “请你不要说”, speaks of modern city lovers who are finding it easier to let go of relationships and to encourage people to lose their baggage and move on to a better place.
<<Feel About You>> features an interesting range of five cover songs including Duran Duran’s “Ordinary World”, the groovy “Just the two of us”, “My eyes adored you”, Neil Young’s “Only love can break your heart”, the classic “You belong to me”.

Henry Nicola Mancini was an American composer, conductor, arranger, pianist and flautist. Often cited as one of the greatest composers in the history of film, he won four Academy Awards, a Golden Globe, and twenty Grammy Awards, plus a posthumous Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 1995.

The Whiplash soundtrack consists of 24 tracks sequenced in 3 distinct parts: Original jazz songs written for the film, original underscore written for the film, and classic jazz standards by Stan Getz, Duke Ellington and more. There are also choice snippets of dialog included on the soundtrack that sum up the narrative of the film and help to put the music in context (à la Pulp Fiction). The Original Score & Big Band Songs were created by Justin Hurwitz. The original jazz songs were created by Grammy nominated composer, Tim Simonec.
