2011 release, a five track EP from the singer, songwriter, producer and Rock icon best known for his work with Velvet Underground. Extra Playful conceives and executes more great ideas in 21 minutes than most musicians do in 10 years. It's Art-Rock, but energized; fun, smart and sexy. It recalls a time when nearly all Rock had to exhibit brain and heart as well as muscle, before the Oasis era of regression - and yet remains hotly topical and glisteningly modern. It's the work of a master.

实践家。
当然音乐上也兼顾着Peter Gabriel充满艺术性，幽默而满载创意的表现手法，也因而在商业成就上得到了佳绩。
像是1986年首次为他蠃得葛莱美奖的专辑"So",其中的冠军单曲"Sledgehammer"就是一支将动画短片与音乐完美
结合的作品。
