Susumu Yokota was a Japanese composer. He released several albums under pseudonyms including Stevia, Ebi, and others. Yokota was well known in the English-speaking independent music scene for his albums of experimental ambient music, including albums like Acid Mt. Fuji and Sakura.

Gregory Porter (born November 4, 1971) is an American singer, songwriter, and actor. He won the Grammy Award for Best Jazz Vocal Album in 2014 for Liquid Spirit and in 2017 for Take Me to the Alley.

Axel Wilner AKA The Field presents his new project, Loops of Your Heart, the audible manifestation of what happened when a Swede moved himself to Berlin to immerse himself in the sonic adventure playground that is Berlin. 'And Never Ending Nights' is steeped in German influence, from its obvious incarnation in the sampled voices of German children on the track 'Neukolln', mimicking the cacophony of noise he encounters outside his Berlin studio, to the celebration of the German musical tradition that basks in a lack of restraint and is best exemplified by esteemed German names such as Cluster, Holger Czukay and You. Wilner revels in this new-found liberty and interacts on new melodic levels with his hardware arsenal of synthesizers and guitars.

Icelandic composer +"lafur Arnalds releases his first Hollywood film score -- the original motion picture soundtrack for Sam Levinson's feature film debut Another Happy Day, starring Ellen Barkin and Demi Moore. In his own words: "In mid-December 2010, I was on a holiday in China when I received an email from Sam Levinson about the film. We got on the phone at, like, 4 in the morning Beijing-time and ended up talking all through the night, instantly connecting. He told me that they had been listening to my music while making the film, so the film was already very influenced by my music. However, it was not until Ellen Barkin -- the beautiful force that she is -- had pestered the producers for a week, calling them every day about how I am the right one for this film, that they finally gave in. The only catch was that it had to be done two weeks later, in the first week of January. So I ended up scoring non-stop all throughout Christmas, making my mother mad in the process."

Recorded in Hoboken, NJ at Sonic Youth's Echo Canyon West studio and mixed with John Congleton, Pre Language finds Disappears at their most potent and focused. The band has finally stepped into their own world and the results are thrilling.

VCMG release one of 2012's most anticipated musical collaborations, the album 'Ssss' on Mute on 12 March 2012. It marks the long awaited reunion of electronic pioneers Vince Clarke (Erasure/ Yazoo/ Depeche Mode) and Martin L. Gore (Depeche Mode), who have joined forces for the first time in over thirty years to craft an album which, demonstrating their mutual love of electronic music. After initial tentative discussions, and a meeting at Short Circuit presents Mute festival in London, where they both performed, these two influential musicians and songwriters, began work on the 10-track album, working in a typically unique way with the pair working alone in their respective studios, communication only via email, exchanging files until the albums was ready. The album includes the recent 12" EP1 / Spock, described by The Quietus as "one of the best tracks of 2011", plus the forthcoming EP 2 / Single Blip. The album was produced by Vince Clarke and Martin L. Gore and mixed by the influential Californian electronic artist šberzone / Q. The campaign has two phases. Phase One has been to establish the project in the credible techno/dance and electronic markets. Therefore all promotional activities have focussed on securing support from within these markets and their respective media channels. This has been done by releasing two EP's remix packages in advance of the album building awareness and anticipation for the album. The second phase of the campaign is to target the vast army of avid Depeche Mode and Erasure fans. Built up over the last 30 years these fan bases are reactive to any new projects their heroes partake in - and arguably non more so than the coming together two of the original fonders of Depeche Mode.
