这里是故事的原点（zero）——

为了获得圣杯能实现奇迹的法力，七个魔术士召唤出七人的英灵，展开了一场直到剩下最后一个人为止的终极战争----圣杯战争。

之前三次没有结果的战役不足以让这场战争结束，第四场战役如今有如弦上之箭，一触即发。

寄托着必胜的信念，魔术师们来到了被称作“冬木”的战场。但是在他们当中有一个人却不知道自己是为何而战。他叫——言峰绮礼。

命运的引导让绮礼逐渐失去了自己的判断力，他不明白为什么自己会被授予令咒。但是，命运很快地安排他遇到了一个命中注定的宿敌——卫宫切嗣。

这个男人想要得到圣杯的欲望比任何人都要强烈，使用的手段也是最残忍的。

在《Fate/stay night》中仅略有提到过的，十年前发生的“第四次圣杯战争”的真相。士郎的养父，凛的父亲，以及年轻气盛的言峰绮礼是如何参与这场战争的，真相即将浮出水面。

OVA的故事紧接着TV第13话，也就是被定性为13.5话，夏娜和吉田同学总因为某些小事而吵吵闹闹，就在这样的吵架拌嘴中，两人还是和悠二一起去校外踏青，在围绕着争夺悠二的争吵中，他们之中会有新的恋情爆发吗？　　这部OVA只不过是剧场版上映前的一道杀必死小点心罢了，没有和红世之徒的激斗，也不会有人有生命危险，如果硬要扯上战斗的话，那么悠二同学如果不想受到任何一方责难的话，还是在巨乳和贫乳中好好做出选择吧，最可怕的还是女人的怨念啊！

闹得沸沸扬扬的《灼眼的夏娜S》新企画，在电击文库MAGAZINE7月号终于公布了事件的真相——《灼眼的夏娜S》将在年底推出新作动画OVA，并在近日告知了OVA系列总共将制作4卷，且蓝光与DVD同期发售的消息，制作团队依然由J.C.STAFF的渡部高志班负责，当然，既然是OVA原作补完之类的完全不可能出现。故事描述的是夏娜与悠二因宝具的效果而导致精神互换的番外篇，DVD与蓝光第一卷将于2009年10月23日开始发售，售价分别是5,775日元、6,825日元。比起TV动画第一季的OVA，本期OVA的欢乐指数明显不及格

《灼眼的夏娜》TV第二季的故事将从小说第八卷开始讲起，以NDS游戏《灼眼的夏娜DS》中的登场人物，红世之徒，戏睡乡“メア”入侵御崎市开始开篇。据监督渡部高志所说，故事会对第一季的一些伏笔作出解释，并加入不少这个时代的小故事。第二季STAFF和声优会由原班人马担任，“钉宫之誓”依旧强势走高。
