Violinist Hilary Hahn celebrates two "firsts" in this album: the premiere recording of Jennifer Higdon's Pulitzer Prize-winning concerto from 2008 (dedicated to Hahn), and her first recording of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's much-loved concerto from 1878, in its original, uncut version.
