Vanishing Vision是X乐队于1988年4月14日发行的第一张专辑，刚推出时只有TAPE，之后于9月份推出CD版，很纯的重金属专辑，发行后长期居于地下乐坛销量榜首位。直到现在，在日本的唱片店里还可以买到经数次再版的这张专辑。 X于1987年形成了稳定阵容，随后便展开了第一张专辑的制作，那时的X的第二核心是BASS手TAIJI，而不是后来的HIDE，整张专辑受TAIJI的影响也比较重，有三分之一的作品是TAIJI写的。TAIJI最擅长的是欧美重金属风格的作品，而VANISHING VISION的创作思想就是要给人以压倒性的沉重感，而TAIJI的第一曲DEAR LOSER就很出色的达成了这一目的，他在其他歌曲中的BASS演绎也是精彩绝伦。

专辑1996年首发，此为2001年再版版本。
ソロ2作目は、ロック界に席巻し続けるhideの深い音楽性をより明確にした作品。インダストリアル的なアプローチが導入され、どの曲も個性が強く、鬼気迫るヴォーカルやハードエッジなギターに加え効果音もすごい。
ロックに目覚めた少年時代の心を忘れず、常にワクワクするサウンドでリスナーを楽しませる。本作は、ファースト『HIDE YOUR FACE 』、卓越したポップ感覚の『Ja,Zoo』、zilch『3・2・1』とそれぞれ異なる質感のトータルバランスをとっている。（大嶋幸子）
X#JAPANのギタリストであり,最近はレモネードなる創作集団(?)を主宰するhideのソロ第2弾。ビジュアルだけ見るとエキセントリックだが,サウンドはポピュラリティとマニアックな部分をかなり高いレベルで共存させている。歌も成長の跡あり。

我这个人縂有逃避现实的毛病，因此这张CD也是许久没有聼过了，上面的灰尘几乎让一切都模糊不清。 曾经因為这张CD，我把自己的论坛取名叫Hide Their Face，而现在每次看到这个名字縂有一种莫名的感觉，很多东西变了，不可挽回的消失了。 一直认為Hide在J-Rock中是最国际化的一个，他早期的曲风中可以聼到Kiss，枪花以及Queen的影子，而最后也是摆脱了这样的模仿，形成一种类似詼谐的金属风格。和Yoshiki在古典的道路上越行越远不同，Hide始终在金属的阵营中，他最初坚持的，也是最后坚持的。 而现在谈论这些似乎有些可笑，一切都已不在了。在时间的记忆中湮没.

一周忌に合わせて発表されたトリビュート作。ゆかりの人々を集めた参加者の顔ぶれに圧倒されるが,才気煥発の7あたりを除けばカヴァー演奏の解釈は総じて原曲の印象に忠実。とはいえ各々の演奏クオリティやプロダクションは実に丁寧で聴き応えは十二分だ。
