《9号秘事》第二季是由吉列尔莫·莫拉莱斯担任导演，《绅士联盟》成员史蒂夫·佩姆伯顿和里斯·谢尔史密斯自编自演，联合BBC推出的一部英国暗黑喜剧。该剧与《黑镜》结构类似，一集一个故事，每集故事都是独立的，第二季于2015年3-4月播出，一共由六个新故事组成。

本剧根据法国同名剧集改编，每集将以一连串的电话通话内容交织而成。创新的呈现方式，让观众抽丝剥茧，探索一桩毁灭性的事件，如何让一群陌生人陷入神秘而又令人惊慌失措的情境之中。

On September 11, 2001, David Jennings lost his parents.
There was no warning, no planning, not even a real will. David is left to sort through the aftermath with his siblings, Jon and Emily . None of the three could have ever fathomed the pain they feel, and none of them are quite sure of what to do. When the unthinkable happens, the mind goes blank.
David, an ordinary kid, tries his best to hold his brother and sister together, but he does so without any help. Jon refuses to go to school, watching TV all day on the couch. July 31, 1944: Somewhere in the south of France a German fighter pilot comes back from a sortie over the Mediterranean Sea. Leutnant Mueller jumps down from his Messerschmitt fighter and reports, obviously pleased, that he has shot down a Lightning reconnaissance plane. Mueller and his comrades celebrate the kill in the officers mess, with booze and jokes, as it is still fashionable, even at this stage of the war. They indulge in political uncorrectness, as they are the elite of the Luftwaffe. Mueller recalls the combat. His prey didn't even see him come. He was hit out of the blue, in the truest sense of the word. As the emotions cool down a bit, an orderly comes into the mess and hands a copy of the combat report to Mueller. The orderly mentions that the other side has stated the name of the missing pilot of the Lightning. He says the name, and we can read from the faces of the pilots that part of their world comes tumbling down: Mueller has killed Antoine de Saint-Exupery, the "father" of the Little Prince. The story is told by the older Henrici, who remembers it, sitting at his writing desk. He recalls that far away summer day that has changed his life and the way of literature forever.

Dr. Middling is a dentist longing for adventure, while his "saucy wench" of an assistant tries to take him out for drinks. He finally finds his adventure when a pirate named Jasper Crow comes complaining of tooth pain. Afraid of needles, Dr. Middling resorts to irrational measures to help ease the pain. After he completes his job, Crow leaves, leaving Dr. Middling yearning of adventure satisfied and decides to go out for drinks- only to find out he has a lot more patients to treat.

He writes a letter to a seemingly fake person in a seemingly fake city in New Zealand. After 4 weeks, he receives a letter back from the fake person stating that Evgeniy and the person have in fact met in real life. A lieutenant comes and searches his house to find a secret code hidden among the envelopes. Evgeniy is shocked and the lieutenant travels with him to board a plane later on. While Evgeniy and the lieutenant are traveling, Tanya (Evgeniy's wife) finds a letter in which the person from New Zealand proves to be true and states that Evgeniy will die in a plane.

Belfast, Christmas 1999. A poor, badly dressed woman is half walking, half stumbling down the road. She is tearful and her behaviour is so disturbed that passers-by look furtively at her before hurrying on. Her walk is purposeful though. She is hurrying to go somewhere specific. She stumbles towards a church that is lit up. As she approaches it we see a sign outside announcing "SERVICE FOR PEACE Belfast Christmas together. All Denominations, 8pm"
