T.I.带着他让人期待的新LP回来了，这张叫做《Paper Trail》的全新专辑会在9月推出，最近T.I.在一次新闻发布会上谈论起了制作这张专辑的幕后花絮等。
“我只想让大家知道专辑快要出了，我会在音乐中回答解答大家的许多疑问，" T.I.说道，"歌词会充满热情并且有洞察力，它会震惊说唱圈的，因为我现在正处在自己最好的状态。”
专辑先行单曲“No Matter What” 已经在近期推出并得到了不少好评，这首单曲也被认为是《Paper Trail》中的街头主打，并且已经拍摄了MV。
除了这首歌曲，专辑中据传还有许多好歌，分别由大牌制作人Swizz Beatz, DJ Toomp和Drumma Boy等人打造。除音乐外，大家一定也还记得，T.I.在被捕之前正开始自己演员生涯，他与著名影星Denzel Washington一起出演了取得巨大商业成功的《American Gangster》，而在这之前，他还出演了自己的传记片《ATL》。
据说《Bone Deep》是一部关于银行劫匪的电影，计划在2009年推出，影片中还会有Matt Dillon和Chris Brown。除了《Bone Deep》，T.I.也会推出自己的MTV真人秀节目。

Doggystyle is the debut studio album from American rapper Snoop Dogg, then known as Snoop Doggy Dogg, released by Death Row Records on November 23, 1993. The album was recorded soon following the release of Dr. Dre's landmark debut album The Chronic (1992), to which Snoop Dogg contributed significantly. The style he developed for Dre's album was continued on Doggystyle.[1] Critics have praised Snoop Dogg for the lyrical "realism" he delivers on the album and for his distinctive vocal flow.[1][2]

Doggystyle debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, and sold 802,858 copies in its first week alone, which was the record for a debuting artist and the fastest-selling hip hop album ever until Eminem's The Marshall Mathers LP in 2000. Doggystyle is included in The Source magazine's list of the 100 Best Rap Albums, as well as Rolling Stone magazine's list of Essential Recordings of the 90s.[3] About.com placed the album in number 19 of the greatest hip hop/rap albums of all time.[5]

After nearly one full decade at the absolute pinnacle of the rap game, Desert Storm/Def Jam artist Fabolous will deliver the most personal, confessional album of his career when LOSO'S WAY arrives in the physical and digital marketplace on July 28th. The new album provides an intimate glimpse into the rise of the Brooklyn-born rapper, one of today's most important and controversial players, exploring the perils that come with managing the transition from a street life to one of legitimacy.

Underscoring the autobiographical portrait of LOSO'S WAY is Fab's first long-form video project, a 30-minute film to be released in conjunction with the album. Several trailers from the film have been released, creating a huge buzz for the project online. Known for keeping his personal life separate from his rap career, Fab was inspired by Carlito's Way (Al Pacino), as he told SOHH.com recently: "I think we had some similarities. Carlito was a street dude trying to make the transition from the streets to something better. That's where I felt I was at....transitioning from the streets to a hip-hop artist."

In advance of LOSO'S WAY, two singles are building simultaneously at radio: "Throw It In The Bag" featuring fellow Def Jam artist The-Dream (produced by Tricky Stewart) was #1 Most-Added at Rhythm formats; and "It's My Time" featuring brand new Def Jam artist Jeremih (produced by the Runners) is currently exploding at the Urban format.

这张Pac's Life的反映却前景不妙，这在人们的预料之外，同样在人们的意料之中。毕竟今年是2Pac的10年死祭，而且死后的每张专辑都大热，上一张04年的 Loyal To The Game更是全球3白金，首周横扫三大榜——专辑榜、R&B榜和RAP榜，今年Pac's Life首周10万销量，只在专辑榜排在第9位，落差太大；而说意料之中，自从上张大热专辑Loyal To The Game被Eminem搞成了“东海岸”，遭到了2Pac迷对商业2Pac的批判，从而丧失了大量的份额，加上同西海岸后起之秀The Game第二张专辑Doctor's Advocate撞车，也同样稀释了部分销量。专辑由老友Snoop Dogg、著名制作人LT Hutton和Ruff Ryder的Swizz Beatz等人共同制作，而由Afeni Shakur选出了10首2Pac未发行的单曲改改名，试图重现原味的2Pac，当然在现在的modern制作氛围中，2Pac那种力量很容易迷失在里面。在这张“Various Artists Ft. 2Pac”专辑中，歌曲被分为“原始”版本和混音版本(这也是惯例了)，并首次加入大量女声(Playa Cardz Right甚至出了男声版和女声版)，看来真是2Pac是大家的啊。参与的人员包括Bone Thugs-N-Harmony、T.I. 、 Ashant、Keyshia Cole和Young Buck、T.I.等等，共超过20人的队伍为整张专辑添色不少，反正也出了10张了，也不在乎这第11张是否能真正达到纪念的作用，不光是2Pac迷，所有Hip-hop听众所接受也只能把其当作一张尚未过时的Rap专辑。

For instance on the infectious head-nodder "Robot," which was released 6 weeks prior to Jay Z's "The Death Of Auto Tune" track, and already available World Wide at Digital Retail Shops, such as iTunes, the duo speak-out against the recent overuse of the Auto-Tune vocal effect in urban music, but under the surface the message is much deeper. "I don't want people to get the averaged clichéd version and thinking that we're dissing people,'" Buckshot clarifies. "What we're calling out here is the biters, the people that feel like because this guy sold X amount of records doing this, that I'm going to turn around and do it as well," KRS says of the array of artists who have followed in the creative footsteps of Roger Troutman, Afrikka Bambatta, Teddy Riley and T-Pain. Despite its heavy message, sonically the track, produced by Mobb Deep's Havoc, is as inviting as anything on the radio today. The video for "ROBOT," directed by Todd Angkaswan, has been added into rotation at MTV & BET. The track has also been included in the sound track for Activision's upcoming Tony Hawk skate game in stores this Fall.

Still gritty tracks like "Clean Up," featuring Rock of Heltah Skeltah and the politically minded "Running Away" featuring Immortal Technique, make Survival Skills a Hip-Hop fan's dream, catering to those that love lyrics and the boom-bap. Equally as rich is the album's Black Milk-produced track, "The Way I Live" featuring the Queen of hip-hop soul, Mary J. Blige. Together they create a triumphant anthem for all those on the grind trying to conquer their dreams. The song's summery feel and soothing melodies make it an instant hit.
