没有各种花里胡哨的招式，没有造型怪异来历不凡的奇门兵器，更没有无谓多余的碎碎念。
拔枪，轰杀，有时候战斗就是如此简单。
这显然不是一个由一群高尚主角和花哨对白堆砌起来的浪漫故事：被[黑色礁湖号]成员绑架的上班族冈岛绿郎在得知自己被公司抛弃之后，便索性加入[黑色礁湖号]。与黑壮汉老板达智、火爆枪手利颖和科技达人卑利一同经营运输业，当然，“偶尔会做些触犯法例的事”……
作品中的战斗流畅、富有魄力，丝毫没有拖沓感，给人的感觉类似于好莱坞动作大片，简单、华丽、直截了当、气势十足；同时，广江乾净的画风也十分贴合作品中战斗给人的感觉。
事实上对于这么一部豪快的战斗系作品而言，太多的形容词和“深层分析”都似乎显得啰嗦和不必要。作为观众，我们只需要享受这种快感就好。
绿仔 (Rock)
男一号，日本人，前上班族，目前是礁湖号的见习水手，经常和利颖一起行动，性格温和理智，为人善良厚道……
利颖 (Levi)
可以算是女一号。美裔中国人，礁湖号上的枪手，性格暴躁凶悍，偏好用暴力来解决问题。顺便说一句，我很喜欢她身上的纹身。
达智 (Dutch)
没有提到国籍，不过曾参加过越战，应该是美国人。礁湖号的老板，按卑利的话说，“即顽固又理智，和怪人差不多”，作战也是强悍的硬派风格。他跟巴拉莱卡的关系似乎非同一般。
卑利 (Benny)
美裔犹太人，因为某些原因，被黑手党和FBI追捕，科技达人，负责黑色礁湖号上的各种高科技设备。
巴拉莱卡 (Balalaika)
俄罗斯御姐，黑帮“莫斯科酒店”在泰国分区的头儿，以前是苏军上尉。黑色礁湖号所接受的委托，有很多都来自她。
张北伟 (Chang)
香港三合会泰国分区的大哥，有着中国人特有的刚柔并济的作风，身手了得，真名周润发……
