Shaun Tan 2007 Calendar
Simply Read Books 2006 - 11
Shaun Tan’s remarkable artwork has graced a number of children’s books, garnering both critical and commercial acclaim. Dark, complex, and richly detailed, Tan's illustrations for books including The Red Tree, The Lost Thing, The Viewer, Memorial, and The Rabbits offer a labyrinth of visual ideas, and this stunning wall calendar — his first — features illustrations from his children’s titles as well as from his new graphic novel, The Arrival.

I Want My Hat Back 豆瓣
Jon Klassen Candlewick Press 2011 - 9
A New York Times Best Illustrated Children's Book of 2011!
A picture-book delight by a rising talent tells a cumulative tale with a mischievous twist.
The bear's hat is gone, and he wants it back. Patiently and politely, he asks the animals he comes across, one by one, whether they have seen it. Each animal says no, some more elaborately than others. But just as the bear begins to despond, a deer comes by and asks a simple question that sparks the bear's memory and renews his search with a vengeance. Told completely in dialogue, this delicious take on the classic repetitive tale plays out in sly illustrations laced with visual humor-- and winks at the reader with a wry irreverence that will have kids of all ages thrilled to be in on the joke.
The Fox and the Star
Coralie Bickford-Smith Penguin Books 2015 - 11
From an award-winning designer comes a beautifully illustrated children’s story, a modern day classic that speaks to all ages.
Once there was a Fox who lived in a deep, dense forest. For as long as Fox could remember, his only friend had been Star, who lit the forest paths each night. But then one night Star was not there, and Fox had to face the forest all alone and learns to embrace life and the world around us. It is a book that crackles with imagination and wonder.
Beautifully created by Coralie Bickford-Smith, it is inspired by the author’s own personal experience, the works of William Blake and graphic designer William Morris. It is a work of art that deserves a place on every book lover's bookshelf, young and old.
