以"I Love You Always Forever"惊豔歌坛的创作女歌手令人期待的全新作品

随着个人首支单曲"I Love You Always Forever"在排行与销售成绩的双赢助澜下，让唐娜路易斯入围美国音乐奖流行/摇滚类「最受欢迎的新人」、Billboard杂誌1996年最佳新进流行艺人的第6名。
这位出生於威尔斯的歌手兼词曲创作者，自6岁开始学习钢琴，14岁生日后开始写歌。进入威尔斯音乐戏剧学院主修钢琴与长笛，并立志以音乐做为终身职志。在首张专辑「Now In A Minute」的大大畅销后，唐娜并为因此而休息，反而在97年底至98年初在自家的录音室为新作催生。
新专辑「Blue Planet」的创作灵感多半是来自於唐娜现位於都柏林的住所周遭所发生的人、事、物；如新专辑中的"Beauty And Wonder"、"Blue Planet"便是因此而产生的；除了自己本身担任键盘乐器的弹奏外，亦有多位知名乐手加入专辑的伴奏工作，如在上一张专辑即出现的吉他手Gerry Leonard (Paula Cole、Laurie Anderson)、贝斯手Tony Franklin (Jimmy Page)；鼓手Ralph Salmins (Bjork、Van Morrison、Everything But The Girl) ；除此之外，David Lowe及Paul Waller也加入鼓声的编排工作，吉他手Jimmy Smith，帮Bruce Springsteen、Sting、Peter Gabriel伴奏的键盘手David Sancious也加入专辑的录製工作。

Donna Lewis is a Welsh singer-songwriter, pianist and record producer from Cardiff, Wales. She is best known for the 1996 pop hit single "I Love You Always Forever", which peaked at number five on the UK Singles Chart, and also peaked within the top ten of the charts in Australia, Austria, Canada, France, Germany, New Zealand, Norway, and the United States. In the latter country, the song peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 for nine weeks, having been held off the summit by the Bayside Boys Remix of "Macarena" by Los Del Rio. It also became the highest-charting single on the Billboard Hot 100 by a Welsh artist since Bonnie Tyler topped the chart with "Total Eclipse of the Heart" in 1983. Additionally, the single is tied third among songs with the longest runs at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 and at second for most weeks at number one on the Billboard Mainstream Top 40 chart. Lewis teamed up with Richard Marx on the 1997 adult contemporary hit "At the Beginning" for the Anastasia soundtrack. In 1997, Lewis was nominated for the Brit Award for Best British Female Artist.
