James Blake Litherland is an English singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and record producer from London. He first received recognition for a series of 2010 EPs including CMYK and Klavierwerke, and he released his self-titled debut album in 2011 to critical praise.

窦靖童是个善于观察的人。《猫》描写的是人们每天汲汲营营，忙碌着应付各种问题，全部的时间被占用，只能从工作间隙中寻找一点满足与快乐，而无暇去追求更重要的东西，实现自己的梦想。歌曲的特殊结构，映衬着这个简单的主题，机械也好，忙碌也好，最后只想爱。

Already heralded as one of the most highly anticipated albums of the year, 25-year old singer-songwriter Phoebe Bridgers has confirmed details of her sophomore solo album, Punisher.

Bridgers is a singular talent, and also the rare artist with enough humour to deconstruct the tired heuristics of a meteoric rise. Punisher, written and recorded between the summer of 2018 and the fall of 2019, cements her as one of the most irresistibly clever and tenderly prolific songwriters of our era. Returning to work with her 'Stranger In The Alps' collaborators Tony Berg and Ethan Gruska, Bridgers - who co-produced the 'Boygenius' EP and Better Oblivion Community Center album - stepped into the role of co-producer for Punisher and has drawn from the same tight-knit group of musicians who appeared on her debut as well as those she has worked with since. The album includes Bridgers’ band of Marshall Vore (drums), Harrison Whitford (guitar), Emily Restas (bass) and Nick White (piano) as well as performances from Conor Oberst ('Halloween', 'I Know The End'), Lucy Dacus ('Graceland Too', 'I Know The End'), Julien Baker ('Graceland Too', 'I Know The End'), Blake Mills ('Halloween', 'Savior Complex' and 'I Know The End'), Jenny Lee Lindberg ('Kyoto', 'ICU'), Christian Lee Hutson ('Garden Song', 'Halloween', 'Savior Complex', 'I Know The End'), Nick Zinner ('I Know The End'), legendary drummer Jim Keltner ('Halloween' and 'Savior Complex') and Bright Eyes’ Nathaniel Walcott on horns ('Kyoto' and 'I Know The End'). In Colour is the debut studio album by British producer and The xx member Jamie xx. It is set to be released on June 1, 2015 on the Young Turks label. A deluxe version of the album, cut on coloured vinyl and featuring two exclusive instrumental tracks, will be made available for a limited time.

“Funkstörung” is Funkstörung's 4th longplayer. After a ten years break this album comes along like a twisted Janus' head on a perfectly toned body. It's everything you've expected from glitch hop's inventors and everything you have not. For those eagerly awaiting the moment Funkstörung would come around the corner with a new innovation of electronic music, just like they did with their first record: This time they did not. Instead they do what they do best and take up the path they started to carve with “Disconnected”: Luscious pop songs with heavy backbones, illustrious guests adding heartfelt vocals to a bed of fizzing basslines. It is a very vocal album - there are guest singers on nearly every song on the record - but they do not domineer the sound of it. They all just contribute to a fresh version of Funkstörung that has ripened a bit and got seasoned with a hell lot of flavour.
Some of the voices on “Funkstörung” have been part of the family for a while, some of them, like Jamie Lidell, are new collaborators. But wether with old friends or newfound partners all of the 14 songs on the album get to the heart of electronic pop. As a whole, the record seems so well balanced it's ready to be an instant classic. Each of the songs transports a timeless quality of content sunny vibes which would go as well with a very expensive wine in front of a fireplace, as with a plastic cup of beer and rubber boots at a muddy festival.
Instead of concentrating on glitches and breaks the effort of the two producers has gone into growing every sound into perfection, one can feel that no time pressure fixated a detail onto the wrong place. Like the duo say, the record is “evolution not revolution”. The album comes in a beautiful sleeve design by lauded graphic artists Zeitguised and Sebastian Onufszak.
“Funkstörung” is a very confident record not desperately trying to be zeitgeisty but most certainly up to date.

Written and recorded over the past year in Berlin, Reykjavik and Ireland, ‘Black Lights’ is the Icelandic trio’s most fully realised and accessible record yet - sung for the first time entirely in English, and headed up by gorgeous lead-off single ‘Wanted 2 Say’, released on 8th April.

Set My Heart On Fire Immediately is the fifth studio album from Perfume Genius released on Matador Records. It sees artist and musician Mike Hadreas re-teaming with GRAMMY-nominated producer Blake Mills and features contributions from musicians Jim Keltner, Pino Palladino and Matt Chamberlin. It was recorded in Los Angeles, where Perfume Genius settled in 2017 with longtime partner and musical collaborator Alan Wyffels.
The album explores and subverts concepts of masculinity and traditional roles, and introduces decidedly American musical influences. Throughout Hadreas plays with themes of love, sex, memory and the body, channeling popular music mythologies while irreverently authoring its own – from the delirious, Cyndi Lauper-nodding celebratory pop of ‘On The Floor’, specters of Elvis on haunted tremolo waltz ‘One More Try’, to the harpsichord-punctuated baroque pop of ‘Jason’, and gliding steel guitar and Balearic rhythm of ‘Without You’.
“I wanted to feel more open, more free and spiritually wild,” says Hadreas, “and I’m in a place now where those feelings are very close - but it can border on being unhinged. I wrote these songs as a way to be more patient, more considered - to pull at all these chaotic threads hovering around me and weave them in to something warm, thoughtful and comforting.”
First album taster ‘Describe’ captures this sense of fleetingness and living in the moment through a heavy fog of grizzly distortion and tumbling slide guitars: “It started as a really somber ballad. It was very minimal and very slow. And then it turned into this beast of a song. I started writing that about when you are in such a dark place that you don’t even remember what goodness is or what anything feels like. And so, the idea was having someone describe that to you, because you forgot or can’t get to it.” Its accompanying video, self-directed by Hadreas, envisions “an end of the world where there are no boundaries, there are no edges, no rules, or the rules are completely new with how you interact with each other and the space around you.”
