Sunset Rollercoaster is a jazz influenced, subtropical sextet who write retro love songs with a modern spin. The Taiwan-based group's breezy, chilled out tunes perfectly accompany sunny strolls along the riverside or lazy mornings in bed with your love.

Big Thief's music, rooted in the songs of Adrianne Lenker, paints in vivid tones "the process of harnessing pain, loss, and love, while simultaneously letting go, looking into your own eyes through someone else's, and being okay with the inevitability of death," says Adrianne.
Masterpiece, Big Thief's debut album, is filled with characters and visceral narratives, songs that pivot in the space of a few words. Adrianne's voice and guitar playing speak of rich emotional territory with grace and insight. In her words, the record tracks "the masterpiece of existence, which is always folding into itself, people attempting to connect, to both shake themselves awake and to shake off the numbness of certain points in their life. The interpretations might be impressionistic or surrealistic, but they're grounded in simple things."
Adrianne met her longtime musical partner, guitarist and singer, Buck Meek, in Brooklyn a few years ago, and they quickly formed a creative bond tempered by the experience of traveling and performing for months on end in old dive bars, yards, barns, and basements together. They recorded a pair of duo albums (A-Sides and B-Sides), and Adrianne showcased her songs on a solo album, Hours Were The Birds.
Now, as a full rock and roll band, with Buck on guitar, Max Oleartchik on bass, and James Krivchenia on drums, they bring a steady wildness, giving the songs an even deeper layer of nostalgia. "These guys feel like a pack of wolves at my back," says Adrianne, "they make the songs howl and bark with a fierce tenderness that gives me courage."
After spending last July in an old house that they turned into a studio on Lake Champlain with producer Andrew Sarlo, the resulting collection soars on what Big Thief fan Sharon Van Etten calls "...a real journey, with intelligent stories and twist-and-turn melodies."

Every once in a while, a band comes along that leaves expectations, cynicism, and emotional distance ruined in a heap on the floor. Brooklyn's Big Thief is that band. To hear songwriter Adrianne Lenker's lilting narratives and twisted, fuzzy guitars is to love them. Lenker's lyrical storytelling is equally grounded and autobiographical as it is surreal and cabalistic. Just ask Big Thief fan Sharon Van Etten. "Some of the most compelling songs I've heard in a long time," says Van Etten. "Driving songs that take you on a real journey, with intelligent stories and twist-and-turn melodies. And fun as hell live."

Pom Poko are Ragnhild (lead vocals), Ola (Drums), Jonas (Bass) and Martin (Guitar). The 4 met whilst all studying at the Trondheim Music Conservatory in Norway and quickly garnered interest from a wider audience as they began playing and writing together. The group cite a range of influences for their unique sound, including “(West)-African music like Oumou Sangaré and Ali Farka Touré; indie bands like Vulfpeck, Palm and KNOWER; noisy high-energy bands such as Hella and Death Grips; and music with interesting lyrics such as Jenny Hval and Nick Drake.” But you’d struggle to pin them down to one or two forebears, given their resistance to anything resembling a prescriptive approach.

We managed to make a real album and “Bull’s Eye”was born. Katrina Camus has a phrase in solitude and solidarity: "I always feel on the sea: threatened in the center of great happiness."This is the original intention of our creation of “Bull’s Eye”. A typhoon means passive acceptance and inability to resist. It subtly forms the stress when this sense of passivity occupies most of your life. It is like a whirlpool, but the pressure and the typhoon are not the same. The typhoon stops for a short time, and the pressure is pervasive. It is even possible that you have been passively accepted for the rest of your life. There is no export at all . This typhoon has been trying to get excited in our hearts. Now we catch it and add a little meaning to the absurd world.

Chocolate and Cheese is the fourth studio album by the American rock band Ween, originally released by Elektra Records in 1994. It was the first Ween album to be recorded in a professional studio, in contrast to the crude four-track home recordings of their first three albums.

Co-produced by Hinds, I Don't Run shows us a band fighting for their place, a band unwilling to rely upon their successes, a band who have just begun to prove themselves, and a band who plays hard but works even harder. With this second LP, they continue their quest to own their narrative – one of sisters doing it for themselves. “We loved making this album,” says guitarist and vocalist Ana Perrote. “We knew what we wanted and we have what we wanted. On September 13th, 2011 San Francisco’s Girls will release their second album and third record Father, Son, Holy Ghost on True Panther Sounds and Turnstile in the UK/Europe. The album comes two years after their debut (Album), and one year after the follow-up EP (Broken Dreams Club).
On the third anniversary of the birth of Girls as a band Christopher Owens and Chet White found themselves entering the studio to begin recording their second album. More a collection of gear than a studio, recording took place in the bowels of a San Francisco office building. The two teamed up with new drummer Darren Weiss and guitarist John Anderson assembling performances and ultimately creating new music and musical relationships to carry the band through its newest incarnation.
Girls have taken what they’ve always done best and have displayed it with amazing clarity and the strongest of intent. Classic songwriting coupled with exciting production is their way. “I’m still all the same,” Owens says. “I still know I have to do it. I still love the songs and writing songs.”
Father. Son, Holy Ghost is at times ebullient and at times absolutely devastating. A truly beautiful record and the perfect amalgamation of a band’s past and present while most importantly leaving us all excited and hungry for their future.

HYUKOH的队长吴赫出生于1993年10月5日，今年24岁。在他9岁的时候经历了2002年的韩日世界杯，当时充满激情的记忆通过此次HYUKOH新专辑‘23’的收录曲‘2002Worldcup’体现而出。让所有同龄人们都记忆深刻且喜爱的夜晚在9岁之后就再也没有重现。代替它们的却是竞争激烈的学生时期和严重的就业困难问题。HYUKOH在之前发布的歌曲的歌词表达的正是同龄人们所面对的现实。
初期在小规模的演出场馆进行表演的HYUKOH通过SNS等渠道渐渐被人们所了解。后来通过出演人气综艺节目‘无限挑战’成为众所周知的乐队。在这样的人生转变过程中，HYUKOH通过新专辑‘23’坦率地说出了身为20几岁的他们想说的话。就如专辑中的第一首歌曲‘Burning youth’一样，向他们自己和他们的未来宣言‘We’re not so wrong’。
