Be Svendsen lässt sich einfach nicht in eine Schublade stecken. Zumindest eins steht aber fest: Seine stilistische Freimütigkeit passt ganz wunderbar an die frische Luft!
Durchweg spaßorientiert betreibt der Däne hier seine einzigartige Klang-Jonglage. Auf minimalem Groove wirbelt er surreale Samples und Melodiefetzen herum, bis sich das Kaleidoskopmuster der Sounds schließlich mit jazziger Stimmigkeit um die swingende Stimme einer Sängerin legt: Let Them Not Weep! Mollono.Bass zaubert für seinen Remix noch mal eine Extraportion Schub aus dem Ärmel, wie so oft ist es die Summe vieler Details, die hier für ordentlich Druck sorgt. Der Titel Leone galoppiert mit wunderbarer Verwegenheit in die Klanglandschaft eines Spaghetti Western. Zwischen Club- und Saloon-Atmosphäre tobt hier eine draufgängerische Party. Damit nicht genug cineastisches Hitpotential: Be Svendsen’s Remix seines unvergesslichen Solo Para Mi entwickelt aus wagemutigen Gitarrenakkorden eine wilde Arpeggio-Hypnose.

It’s simply impossible to put a label on the sound of Be Svendsen. Well, at least one thing can be said: His stylistic open-mindedness is just perfect for open air scenarios!
Seriously fun loving – that’s the style in which the Danish producer performs his signature sound juggling. Based on a minimal groove he whirls around surreal tunes and melody samples until eventually a kaleidoscopic pattern shapes around the swinging voice of a female singer: Let Them Not Weep! Mollono.Bass has even a little more boost up his sleeve, once again it’s the combination of many small details that makes his remix pumping and kicking. The audacious beats of Leone gallop straight into the acoustic landscape of a Spaghetti Western where a wild party is taking off when the adventurous atmosphere of a saloon meets the urban energy of a club dance floor. There’s even more cinematic hit potential on this record: Be Svendsen’s remix of his epic title Solo Para Mi evolves from daring guitar chords into the endless rising of hypnotic arpeggios.

Viken Arman just released his most recent EP entitled ‘Willow’ published on his label Denature Records.
This six-track album has influences from both, jazz and club music, in order to create a “powerful musical dialogue” that would stretch both genres. In this way, the artist opted for dance music exploration, giving it a mystical and avant-garde touch.
The material has been divided into six parts, each one assigned with an emotional poetic perspective. In addition, each track has an original art created by the Armenian painter Davit Yukhanyan that invites the listener to expand “the way we see ourselves is not only the way we live our lives but also the way we relate to others”.
