Brian Eno and Underworlds Karl Hyde have come together for a new collaborative album called Someday World, scheduled for release on May 6 through Warp (May 5 in the UK). The record, composed and sung by both Eno and Hyde, features a whole cast of guest musicians: Enos Roxy Music bandmate Andy Mackay, Enos daughter Darla Eno, Will Champion of Coldplay and his wife Marianna Champion, Sinead OConnor producer John Reynolds, Tessa Angus, Nell Catchpole, Kasia Daszykowska, Don E., Georgia Gibson, and Chris Vatalaro. Eno co-produced the record with Fred Gibson.
Eno also did the artwork for the album, and Hyde took the cover photograph. "I had a big collection of beginnings sitting around waiting for something to galvanise them into live, to make them more than just experiments," Eno said in a press release. "That something turned out to be Karl Hyde."
The release was produced by Brian Eno with 22 year old Fred Gibson, continuing an ongoing collaboration between Karl and Brian which sees the two together on a complete album for the very first time.
Brian Eno:
“A lot of the nicer cities I know are cities built on hills, and the cities are beautiful because the buildings have a challenge to adapt to. They have to mould themselves around the geology that theyve formed upon. And that always makes for very interesting buildings, because they cant just be blocks, they have to somehow morph around the environment. A lot of the constructions on the album were deliberately irregular and awkward.
I had a big collection of beginnings sitting around waiting for something to galvanise them into life, to make them more than just experiments. That something turned out to be Karl Hyde.”
Karl Hyde:
“Its a bit like being nine years old again. You have no idea what youve just been given, the record button has been pressed and youre on. And then these unlikely patterns start to happen. The biggest surprise was discovering we both had a love of Afrobeat, Cyclical music based in live playing. When Brian played me these early tracks it was, Oh my god, this is home! Can I borrow a guitar?”

The Man-Machine (German: Die Mensch-Maschine) is the seventh studio album by German electronic music band Kraftwerk. It was released on 19 May 1978 by Kling Klang in Germany and by Capitol Records elsewhere. A further refinement of their mechanical style, the album saw the group incorporate more danceable rhythms and less minimalistic arrangements. It includes the singles "The Model" and "The Robots".

With a pinch of his customary homespun sense of humor and love of all things soulful and jazzy, Carthy blends his tunes across a range of soundworlds, encompassing Funk and light Electronica. Here's where it all started - the love story of a label (Kompakt) and an artist (Gui Boratto). K2 was a sub-label from Kompakt that ran from 2005 to 2008: originally meant to be a platform for dancefloor friendly 12"es, it soon became a testing ground for fresh talent, with Gui Boratto being one of the most startling artists to show up on the roster. Substance (also known as Substance 1987 to distinguish it from the Joy Division compilation of the same name) is a 1987 compilation album by New Order, consisting of all of the band's singles at that point in their 12-inch versions, together with their respective B-side tracks. The then newly-released non-album single "True Faith" is also featured, along with its B-side "1963". The collection was released on vinyl, double CD, double cassette and Digital Audio Tape.

"Poker Face" is an electropop song by American pop singer-songwriter Lady Gaga from her debut album, The Fame. Produced by RedOne, it was released as the album's second single in late 2008 for some markets and in early 2009 for the rest of the world. The song is an uptempo dance song following in the footsteps of her previous single "Just Dance" but has a darker musical tone. The main idea behind the song is bisexuality and was a tribute by Gaga to her rock 'n' roll boyfriends. Lyrically "Poker Face" is about sex and gambling.

Armando Christian Pérez, known professionally as Pitbull, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. Pérez initially began his career in the early 2000s, recording reggaeton, latin hip hop and crunk music under a multitude of labels. In 2004, Pitbull released his debut album M.I.A.M.I.

48:13 is the fifth studio album by British rock band Kasabian. The album, produced by the band's guitarist Sergio Pizzorno and named after its total running time, was released in Germany on 6 June 2014 and in the UK on 9 June 2014. It is promoted by the lead single "Eez-eh". The album entered at number one on the UK Albums Chart in its first week of release. It's the band's fourth consecutive UK number one album. The second single, "bumblebeee", was released on 3 August 2014. The video, directed by Alex Courtes, was released in late July.
