距離上張專輯「克卜勒」三年的時間，孫燕姿結束了28場「克卜勒世界巡迴演唱會」，並發行了「彩虹金剛」首張數位迷你EP及「Radio」、「簡愛」、「在，也不見」三首單曲後，就開始著手構思新專輯的方向，並從生活細節中尋找灌溉靈感的養分。而平時有在學習作畫的她，也在不斷作畫的過程中觀察到「要把陰影都看見，才能更為完整」，並試著從最暗處尋找光亮，抓住飄浮在空氣中的色彩，哼著內心的瘋狂，然後，拿這些做成歌，才開始有了「跳舞的梵谷」這張專輯的概念及想法的誕生。

"Don't" is a song recorded by English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran taken from his second studio album x (2014). As expected, Ed Sheeran and Yelawolf drop off their new EP The Slumdon Bridge. The recent collaborators are quite the intriguing pair, but have already received positive reviews for their early work together.

Born to Die is the second studio album and major-label debut by American singer and songwriter Lana Del Rey. It was released on January 27, 2012 by Interscope Records, Polydor Records, and Stranger Records. Del Rey collaborated with producers including Patrik Berger, Jeff Bhasker, Chris Braide, Emile Haynie, Justin Parker, Rick Nowels, Robopop, and Al Shux to achieve her desired sound. Their efforts resulted in a primarily baroque pop record, which sees additional influences from alternative hip hop, indie pop and trip hop music.
Contemporary music critics gave Born to Die mixed reviews; some commended its distinctive production, while its repetitiveness and melodramatic tendencies were a recurring complaint.
