Getting Started with Raspberry Pi
Matt Richardson / Shawn Wallace O'Reilly Media 2012
The Raspberry Pi platform was developed to lower the barriers to teaching young people programming, and it is also popular with hardware hackers and hobbyists who may have a project that needs more computing power than a microcontroller. The first section of the book gets you up and running; after the first chapter the reader will have installed the operating system, will have an understanding of all the hardware features of the Pi, and will have set up the small computer with the correct power source and peripherals. This is followed by a quick start user guide, with enough context and examples of commands to get around the computer. The book also provides instructions for getting started with programming in Scratch and Python, and examples of using the general purpose input and output interface. Finally, the reader is guided through two hands on hardware hacking projects.
Git Internals
Scott Chacon
Peep Code Press 2008
It took me a pretty long time to really get Git. As I’ve continued to use Git more and more where I work, I’ve found myself trying to teach people what it is and why we use it over and over again, and the reality is that Git generally has a pretty steep learning curve compared to many other systems. I’ve seen case after case of devel- opers who love Git after they finally understand it, but getting to that point is often somewhat painstaking.
This book is aimed at the developer who does not particularly like Subversion, Perforce or whatever SCM system they are currently using, has heard good things about Git, but doesn’t know where to start or why it’s so wonderful. It is meant to explain Git as simply as possible in a clean, concise, easily readable volume. My goal is to help you understand Git internals as well as usage at a fundamental level by the time you finish this book.
To accomplish this, I’m starting the book out (after the introduction) with a section about what Git actually does, rather than how to use it. I found that I didn’t really understand Git and had many problems using it until I understood what it was actually doing at a low level, rather than thinking of it as a different, weird SVN-like system.

Git Magic
Ben Lynn CreateSpace 2010 - 4
Git is a version control Swiss army knife. A reliable versatile multipurpose revision control tool whose extraordinary flexibility makes it tricky to learn, let alone master. As Arthur C. Clarke observed, any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. This is a great way to approach Git: newbies can ignore its inner workings and view Git as a gizmo that can amaze friends and infuriate enemies with its wondrous abilities. Rather than describe one mysterious command after another, we provide recipes for typical workflows. After repeated use, you will inevitably gain proficiency with Git.

Inside the C++ Object Model 豆瓣 Goodreads
Inside the C++ Object Model
Stanley B·Lippman Addison-Wesley Professional 1996 - 5
Inside the C++ Object Model focuses on the underlying mechanisms that support object-oriented programming within C++: constructor semantics, temporary generation, support for encapsulation, inheritance, and "the virtuals"--virtual functions and virtual inheritance. This book shows how your understanding the underlying implementation models can help you code more efficiently and with greater confidence. Lippman dispells the misinformation and myths about the overhead and complexity associated with C++, while pointing out areas in which costs and trade offs, sometimes hidden, do exist. He then explains how the various implementation models arose, points out areas in which they are likely to evolve, and why they are what they are. He covers the semantic implications of the C++ object model and how that model affects your programs. Highlights *Explores the program behavior implicit in the C++ Object Model's support of object-oriented programming. *Explains the basic implementation of the object-oriented features and the trade offs implicit in those features. *Examines the impact on performance in terms of program transformation.* Provides abundant program examples, diagrams, and performance measurements to relate object-oriented concepts to the underlying object model. If you are a C++ programmer who desires a fuller understanding of what is going on "under the hood," then Inside the C++ Object Model is for you! Get a value-added service! Free As In Freedom 豆瓣

Arguing A.I.:The Battle for Twenty-First Century Science一书的作者。
