大沢伸一
1967年2月7日生まれ、滋賀県出身、血液型O型。
91年京都にて結成されたバンドMONDO GROSSOのリーダー兼ベーシストとして、93年にフォーライフ・レコードよりアルバム「MONDO GROSSO」でデビュー。アシッドジャズ・ムーブメントが盛り上がる中、海外でも高い評価を得た。95年セカンドアルバム「Born Free」発売後のツアーの後、バンドは解体。大沢伸一が楽曲によって様々なシンガーやミュージシャンを起用するというコラボレーション・ユニットの形態をとる。97年にサードアルバム「Closer」を発売。また、この頃より積極的にプロディース・ワークも手掛け UA「リズム」、MONDAY満ちる「YOU MAKE ME」など数多くのヒット曲を世に送り出す。99年にソニー・ミュージック・アソシエイトレコーズに移籍し、自身のレーベルREALEYESを立ち上げる。その年に第1弾アーティストとして、彼のフル・プロディースでデビューしたbirdは80万枚以上のビッグ・ヒットを記録した。2000年から自身のユニットもMONDO GROSSOを再始動。スマッシュ・ヒット曲「LIFE」を収録した、名盤の誉れ高き傑作アルバム『MG4』を発売。アメリカ、イギリス、フランスをはじめとする全世界25ヶ国のソニー・ミュージックからリリースされた。その後全世界30ヶ国以上で発売された2002FIFAワールドカップ公式アルバム『FEVER PITCH』への日本から唯一の楽曲提供をへて、2003年に5thアルバム『NEXT WAVE』をリリース。クラブミュージックとしては異例の15万枚セールスを記録し、日本の音楽シーンにまさに”次なる波“をもたらした。2004年にレーベルをFERALESS RECORDSと改名し、革新的なプロデュース作や、自身のMIX-CD、リコメンドする洋楽のリリースなど精力的に活動を続ける。そして2006年、エイべックス・エインタテインメントに移籍。新天地にて音楽活動にとどまらないさらなる活躍が期待される。

Hyper Opal Mantis marks a significant moment in the career of David Letellier. Since first appearing as Kanding Ray back in 2006, Letellier has released a series of fine albums on Raster-Norton, many of which explore the blurred lines between club-ready techno, off-kilter IDM, and worthy experimentalism. For this latest full-length exploration, Letellier has transferred to Stroboscopic Artefacts, in the process subtly tweaking his sound. While rooted in his established "high definition" style, many of the tracks draw influence from ghostly ambience, industrial textures, and the muscular throb of Electronic Body Music. Despite the subtle variations, Hyper Opal Mantis is still very much a Kanding Ray record.

kangding ray aka david letellier arrives at raster-noton artist collective with his first album STABIL. born in france and based in berlin, letellier evolved as a guitarist and drummer in various bands whose influences ranged from rock and pop to jazz before moving into electronic music. STABIL is a reflection of letellier's background as it integrates guitar loops, bass lines, residual noise, acoustic instruments and digital anomalies to create a textured soundscape. as the label is looking into new directions, kangding rays' debut makes it's mark as an interesting attempt to find a balance between the flow of melodies and the ever changing structure of rhythm.

Cory Arcane is the fifth LP from the French-born, Berlin-based experimental techno producer, real name David Letellier. Like the previous four, including the most recent, Solens Arc, from early 2014, it will come through Raster-Noton. Letellier typically brings a conceptual, cinematic approach and a rebellious spirit to his work, and this one would seem to continue in that vein.
The press release for Cory Arcane comes with an essay from the artist himself, which describes what appears to be the album's titular character. "Cory Arcane found her comfort zone in a constant state of crisis, and her liberation through love, sensuality, and high-speed internet access... Her emancipation was surely marked by different forms of excess: the inappropriate use of fireworks, the consumption of large quantities of alcohol and controlled substances, as well as the occasional blasts of kitchen appliances."

Forefathers of the nu-Balearic/cosmic scene of artists; Richard Dorfmeister (also one half of Kruder & Dorfmeister) and Rupert Huber have produced their most magical and mesmerizing album yet. A luxurious tapestry of analogue and digital sounds, submerged samples and live instruments; No Hassle evolves and expands into an hour-long ambient symphony. The title reflects not only the duo's laidback approach to making music but their whole philosophy of life. "It's our personal reaction to everything," explains Richard. "To all things that are pressuring you from outside, or internally, from every angle. It's sort of the ideal position to achieve, and it's the same idea behind the music: to achieve an hour where you feel hassle free." K7.
