The latest work from the Finnish band mixes some folk elements into their death metal and the result can best be described as beautiful. The production is fat and crystal clear, the song material is great with a floating atmosphere, and the vocal is varied and perfect for this type of music. Dødkvlt is a one-man Experimental Black Metal project from Helsinki, Finland, formed and founded in 2009 by it’s sole member Lord Theynian.
Dødkvlt takes influences from various other music genres, but still remains clearly inside the walls of black metal. The lyrical themes consist of Satan and his various shapes and forms, anti-christianity and death.
Originally intended as the first demo, “I” was written and recorded in April-May 2009. However, the demo soon caught interest of several labels and it was remastered for the 2010 release by Ewiges Eis Records. Only few copies of the rare first demo version of “I” exist, handed only to few chosen people by Lord Theynian. The debut album received encouraging reviews from various metal magazines and websites ranging from 7/10 to 9/10.
The follow-up to the debut album, simply titled “II”, out April 6th 2011 also by EE recs, takes Dødkvlt’s black art to the next level with it’s ranging and experimental material. Released at the same with the second full-length

06年出来的德国单人团，之前叫Blackmysk，出过一张小样，不过一直没有听到。06年的这张demo虽说只发行了不到100张，不过口碑不错。这几年好勇斗狠的bm逐渐没了市场，做音乐的都往忧郁上发展，听音乐的也都哈sdbm，所以Blutklinge这样的团受欢迎也很正常。整体听觉很舒畅，没什么邪恶仇恨之类的感觉，更多的是忧郁，甚至还有那么点清新的感觉。最大的亮点就是旋律，把握的非常到位，很耐听，如果非要说个缺憾，也许就是失真音色有些不尽如人意，有点单薄。乐队在space上发表了个声明---与政治无关，这个态度在ns盛行的今天算是不容易，不炒作，安分做音乐。
