From Fallujah's formation in 2007, the San Franciscans have melded brutality and brains into a sonic force with an unquestionable presence. Debut album, The Harvest Wombs, set the tech death world afire, with its smart brawn and well-placed jazz-rock interludes. The group's follow-up album, The Flesh Prevails, further contrasted intensity with atmosphere. Fallujah, however, aren't content to be pigeonholed as tech death (or deathcore). Eager to not repeat The Flesh Prevails, Fallujah set out to write a paradigm shift in new album, Dreamless. Written largely by guitarist Scott Carstairs at his home-the rest of Fallujah would join in to help the six-stringer smith songs- Dreamless represents a band at the peak of their songwriting ability. According to Hoffman, songs like 'The Void Alone', 'Face Of Death', and 'Lacuna' feature less musical arithmetic and more groove, a trait that's underscored throughout Dreamless. Instead of the rapidity and claustrophobic atmosphere of The Flesh Prevails, Fallujah's new music is clearer, stronger, yet still rife with emotion and ambiance.

For a band on their first EP, AU CHAMP DES MORTS show incredible maturity and precious know-how - brilliantly combining diverse influences from Old School and Post Black Metal to early Hard Rock and Cold Wave.
The two songs proudly presented here are, before all else, deeply intense on an emotional plane. The compositions skilfully combine sublime and majestically aggressive riffing with a torrent of heartbreakingly poignant melodies, full of melancholy. The band’s magisterial grasp of dynamic song-writing effortlessly transports the listener from frenetic rage to serene meditation.
"Le Jour Se Lève" is an amazing first realisation, a beyond-promising start by a truly gifted band: the French Black Metal scene has been a rich pool of pure talent for many years and there's no doubt AU CHAMP DES MORTS will rise to become one of the most important.

Negura Bunget's new album, "ZI" (Romanian for 'Day' or 'Say') is the second part of the group's ambitious "Transilvanian Trilogy", released on the heels of 2015's celebrated album, "TAU" (Romanian for 'Your' or 'Thy'), a record accurately hailed as "earthshaking" as it focused on unique native, natural landscapes and the mystique, legends, lore and meanings behind them.
In creating its most luminescent recording to date, Negura Bunget has further immersed itself in the traditions and practices of local Transilvanian inhabitants, exploring their connection with nature, and the way this relationship has shaped spiritual horizons. Within this framework, "ZI" closely examines the core of the most important traditions and rituals connected with the well-being of this community. Life events such as funeral ceremonies, soil tillage, and human growth and evolution (i.e. youth to teen to man to warrior, through to outcast) are spotlighted, in what is undoubtedly some of the most heady, thinking-man's metal produced in recent memory.
Musically, "ZI" builds upon the hallmarks of Negura Bunget's impressive catalog; the juxtaposition and interweaving of grim black metal elements, ambient soundscapes and acoustic counterparts based on native Romanian folk music, giving life to panoramic atmospheres, intensity and power unequaled in the band's rich discography.
An impressive musical statement and crucial bridge between root-bearing beginning and impending finale of the trilogy (scheduled to be released in early 2018), "ZI" is a mystical, tension-building recording that mirrors the size and scope of the deep forest fog for which the band is named.

The stars are right. The serpent has awoken. January will see the release of our debut album "Allir vegir til glötunar". The recordings began on November 4th 2014 and ended on the 21st of May 2015. The cover artwork was engraved in copper and printed by the highly talented Skaðvaldur.
The album will be released in early 2016 by Vánagandr, Fallen Empire and Signal Rex on cassette, vinyl and CD respectively.
