这部导演罗什·史蒂法尼克自编自导的长片处女作出手就不凡，痴情女子负心郎的故事本无多大新意，女性通过性解放重新认识自身价值的观点也不算很新鲜，但被导演巧妙地置入机场这个封闭空间后，老故事便有了新的可看性。影片的成功离不开Dominique Blanc的出色表现，这个配角专业户在《印度支那》、《玛戈皇后》和《爱我的人请搭车》等片中都有过出色表现，本片绝对是她从影以来戏份最重的一次，2个小时内她那瘦弱而又坚毅的形象几乎占据了所有镜头，短时间内感情多重起伏的张力与强度也令人叫绝。另一位功臣就是去年凭借《军官的房间》获得凯撒奖的日本摄影师永田哲男，在他的镜头中奥利机场从简单的舞台背景变成了一个不说话的“角色”，压抑、幽闭的超现实感觉令人难以自拔。
本片获得2000年蒙特利尔电影节最佳处女作特别奖，2000年开罗电影节最佳导演奖、Dominique Blanc获最佳女主角奖，并在2001年凯撒奖上荣获最佳女演员奖。
