Post is the second studio album by Icelandic recording artist Björk, released in 1995 in the United Kingdom by One Little Independent Records and in the United States by Elektra Entertainment.

Whereas Björk's previous album Debut (1993) was produced almost entirely by Nellee Hooper, Björk produced Post herself with co-producers including Hooper, 808 State's Graham Massey, and former Massive Attack member Tricky.

Continuing the style developed on Debut, Post is considered an important exponent of art-pop. It features an eclectic mixture of electronic and dance styles such as techno, trip-hop, IDM, and house, but also ambient, jazz, industrial, and experimental music.

Björk wrote most of the songs after moving to London and intended Post to convey the city's pace, urban culture, and underground club culture.

Björk Guðmundsdóttir OTF is an Icelandic singer, songwriter, record producer, actress, and DJ. Over her four-decade career, she has developed an eclectic musical style that draws on a range of influences and genres spanning electronic, pop, experimental, trip hop, classical, and avant-garde music.

This soundtrack is composed by Björk with minimal vocals for celebrated contemporary visual artist Matthew Barney’s next film Drawing Restraint 9. Unlike her soundtrack for Lars von Trier’s film Dancer in the Dark which drew on the tradition of theatrical and cinema musicals (and won her Best Actress at Cannes), this is a collection of delicate single instrument studies for harp, harpsichord and celeste; large orchestral masses scored for trumpet, trombone and oboe, electronic basslines, children’s choir and, in a manner recalling the all-vocal Medulla album, Björk’s singular voice, treated as an instrument of astonishingly flexible texture. Björk is the first official release from the Icelandic pop superstar Björk, recorded in 1977 when she was 11 years old. On this album she sings traditional Icelandic folk songs as well as Icelandic language versions of several contemporary pop songs, including "The Fool on the Hill" by The Beatles.

Crystalline is a song by Icelandic artist Björk, released as the lead single from her seventh album Biophilia. The song is due for release as a single on June 30, 2011 accompanied by an iPad app developed exclusively for the song. Every song on Biophilia will be released beside a single app which will include several modes to play them and "enlarge their musical limits".
