This soundtrack is composed by Björk with minimal vocals for celebrated contemporary visual artist Matthew Barney’s next film Drawing Restraint 9. Unlike her soundtrack for Lars von Trier’s film Dancer in the Dark which drew on the tradition of theatrical and cinema musicals (and won her Best Actress at Cannes), this is a collection of delicate single instrument studies for harp, harpsichord and celeste; large orchestral masses scored for trumpet, trombone and oboe, electronic basslines, children’s choir and, in a manner recalling the all-vocal Medulla album, Björk’s singular voice, treated as an instrument of astonishingly flexible texture. Björk Guðmundsdóttir OTF is an Icelandic singer, songwriter, record producer, actress, and DJ. Over her four-decade career, she has developed an eclectic musical style that draws on a range of influences and genres spanning electronic, pop, experimental, trip hop, classical, and avant-garde music.

Post is the second studio album by Icelandic recording artist Björk, released in 1995 in the United Kingdom by One Little Independent Records and in the United States by Elektra Entertainment.

Whereas Björk's previous album Debut (1993) was produced almost entirely by Nellee Hooper, Björk produced Post herself with co-producers including Hooper, 808 State's Graham Massey, and former Massive Attack member Tricky.

Continuing the style developed on Debut, Post is considered an important exponent of art-pop. It features an eclectic mixture of electronic and dance styles such as techno, trip-hop, IDM, and house, but also ambient, jazz, industrial, and experimental music.

Björk wrote most of the songs after moving to London and intended Post to convey the city's pace, urban culture, and underground club culture.

The box will include tracks, some previously unreleased, taken from Bjork's whole career, not just her solo career. The discs include one CD on which Bjork compiles her own 'greatest hits', & a series of 3'' mini -CDs divided into 'Roots', 'Beats' & 'Strings' collections. Vulnicura Live is a live album by Icelandic singer-songwriter Björk featuring 14 songs performed during her 2015 Vulnicura Tour. The release was available exclusively through Rough Trade record shops in very limited quantities and is published by One Little Indian. It has since sold out online but a limited number of CDs and LPs are expected at Rough Trade stores on release day.
On 21 October 2015, the official Rough Trade website posted an early listing of separate 2 x CD / 2 x LP sets entitled Vulnicura Live, a collection of 14 songs recorded on Björk's 2015 tour to promote her critically acclaimed album, Vulnicura. The live album was mixed and put together by Björk herself with help from Arca and The Haxan Cloak, her co-producers on Vulnicura. The sets were officially announced the following day, and are limited to 1000 copies for each format and available exclusively through Rough Trade. Initial reports incorrectly stated that the double album would feature 7 Vulnicura song and 7 songs from Björk's previous albums, but the final track list contains 8 Vulnicura cuts and only 6 from her back catalog.
The CD edition will be released on 13 November 2015 and comes with 4 photo prints in a clear plastic sleeve, with the LP following on 4 December 2015. The vinyl set omits one song, "All Neon Like", and the records are presented as double-sided picture discs in place of the photo prints.[1][2] The vinyl sold out within 2 days followed by the CD edition 3 days later, but limited quantities of the album are expected at Rough Trade stores throughout London and in Brooklyn, NY on their respective release dates.
The first 100 people that preordered the vinyl received a wristband that allowed them entry into a special DJ set with Björk and Arca at the Rough Trade East store in London that took place on Halloween night, 2015.
