Bob Dylan has announced The Basement Tapes Complete: The Bootleg Series Vol. 11, a forthcoming six-disc set that compiles “every salvageable recording” from his famous 1967 sessions with the Band. As the story goes, Dylan and the Band holed up in upstate New York to record a number of original songs, traditional numbers, and covers. After floating around in bootleg form, a selection of those recordings were eventually released as 1975's The Basement Tapes.
But now, the Band's Garth Hudson and music archivist Jan Haust have cleaned up the original recordings and arranged them chronologically, according to Hudson's numbering system. A 38-song selection will also be issued as The Basement Tapes Raw. You can check out both tracklists below. It's out November 4, via Legacy Recordings.

Bob Dylan的“隐喻诗”最著名的代表作之一《All Along the Watchtower》，是Bob Dylan现场演唱次数最多的歌曲，据歌迷统计，到2003年底，他就已经唱了1400多次。在原声碟中将由Pearl Jam乐队的主唱Eddie Vedder演绎。
《滚石》杂志评出的500首最经典歌曲之一，《Knockin' on Heaven's Door》，几十年来曾被无数杰出艺人翻唱，从吉他之神Eirc Clapton直到Avril Lavigne，原声碟中的演唱者是Mercury大奖得主Antony and the Johnsons。
《Can You Please Crawl Out Your Window》，Bob Dylan的得意之作，他曾经在歌曲发行之前私下唱给同乘一车的著名创作人Phil Ochs听，后者因为对这首歌反应冷淡而被Bob Dylan当场踢下了车，足见这首歌在Bob Dylan眼中的地位。
《The Lonesome Death of Hattie Carroll》，Bob Dylan针对一个60年代轰动一时的谋杀案而创作的主题歌曲，是他抨击种族歧视与司法不公的著名代表作。
《Highway 61 Revisited》，Bob Dylan著名专辑的同名主打歌，也入选了《滚石》杂志评出的500首最经典歌曲，此次将由纽约艺术朋克团体Yeah Yeah Yeahs的主唱Karen O献声。
《You Ain't Goin' Nowhere》，首次发行是在乡村摇滚乐队The Byrds的经典专辑《Sweetheart of the Rodeo》中，是Bob Dylan尝试乡村音乐的力作。在原声碟中演唱这首歌曲的是2006年爱尔兰音乐电影《Once》的主演，Frame乐队主唱Glen Hansard和搭档Marketa Irglova。
再来说说制作阵容，除上文提到的明星之外，许多乐坛老将，如乡村乐坛的老牛仔Willie Nelson也参与了歌曲录制，而为歌手们提供伴奏的临时乐队the Million Dollar Bashers也不可小觑，除Bob Dylan御用的贝斯手Tony Garnier等人之外，还有来自著名朋克乐队Television的吉他手Tom Verlaine，以及Sonic Youth的Lee Ranaldo、Steve Shelley等人，阵容实在堪称华丽。

哥伦比亚唱片宣布，Bob Dylan的长期Bootleg系列将出新品，《Vol. 10: Another Self Portrait》预计于8月27日上市。据《纽约时报》报道，这张专辑的封面是Dylan本人的一幅新画作，专辑的预告中称其将包含从未公开的Bob Dylan与George Harrison的合作。
这张bootleg收集了1969年到1971年Bob Dylan最受争议时期的35首罕见和未发行歌曲，其中包括他为1970年专辑《Self Portrait》和《New Morning》准备的素材。
据悉，该发行将有标准双CD版、豪华四CD版和黑胶版几种形式。收录1969年他在英国怀特岛与The Band乐队的完整演出，此外还会附上再版的《Self Portrait》，以及两本精装纪念册，其中就有当年Greil Marcus评论《Self Portrait》的经典开篇语：“What is this shit？”。黑胶版则以三张3LP呈现，另有12寸大小册子。

Triplicate, is the new three disc studio album from Bob Dylan. The collection features 30 brand-new recordings of classic American tunes and marking the first triple-length set of the artist's illustrious career. With each disc individually titled and presented in a thematically-arranged 10-song sequence, Triplicate showcases Dylan's unique and much-lauded talents as a vocalist, arranger and bandleader on 30 compositions by some of music's most lauded and influential songwriters. The Jack Frost-produced album is the 38th studio set from Bob Dylan and marks the first new music from the artist since Fallen Angels, which was released in early 2016.
For Triplicate, Dylan assembled his touring band in Hollywood's Capitol studios to record hand-chosen songs from an array of American songwriters such as Charles Strouse and Lee Adams ("Once Upon A Time"), Harold Arlen and Ted Koehler ("Stormy Weather"), Harold Hupfield ("As Time Goes By") and Cy Coleman and Carolyn Leigh ("The Best Is Yet To Come"). The titles of the individual discs are 'Til The Sun Goes Down, Devil Dolls and Comin' Home Late. According to Bob Dylan, "I am finding these great songs to be a tremendous source of inspiration that has led me to one of my most satisfying periods in the studio. I've hit upon new ways to uncover and interpret these songs that are right in line with the best recordings of my own songs, and my band and I really seemed to hit our stride on every level with Triplicate."
Dylan's two previous album of classic American songs, 2016's Fallen Angels and 2015's Shadows in the Night, were both worldwide hits and garnered Grammy Award nominations in the category of Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album. Both albums received worldwide critical acclaim, with Randy Lewis writing of Fallen Angels in The Los Angeles Times, "[Dylan] immediately liberates songs from the big band/big orchestra world from which they emerged, and in which they are most frequently revisited…. [He] reaches to the blues at the core of many of these songs. Thus, they elicit the ache of romantic yearning and loss that often gets subsumed by swelling orchestral forces, background choirs or by singers who are more focused on crafting elegant vocals than finding emotional resonance." The Telegraph's Neil McCormick awarded Shadows in the Night five out of five stars and described the work as "spooky, bittersweet, mesmerizingly moving [with] the best singing from Dylan in 25 years." Jon Pareles wrote of that album in the New York Times, "Mr. Dylan presents yet another changed voice…a subdued, sustained tone….Shadows in the Night maintains its singular mood: lovesick, haunted, suspended between an inconsolable present and all the regrets of the past."
Bob Dylan has sold more than 125 million records around the world.

Columbia Records announced today that Bob Dylan's new studio album, Shadows In The Night, will be released on February 3, 2015. Featuring ten tracks, the Jack Frost-produced album is the 36th studio set from Bob Dylan and marks the first new music from the artist since 2012’s worldwide hit Tempest.
Upon Columbia’s announcement of the album’s forthcoming release, Bob Dylan commented, “It was a real privilege to make this album. I've wanted to do something like this for a long time but was never brave enough to approach 30-piece complicated arrangements and refine them down for a 5-piece band. That's the key to all these performances. We knew these songs extremely well. It was all done live. Maybe one or two takes. No overdubbing. No vocal booths. No headphones. No separate tracking, and, for the most part, mixed as it was recorded. I don't see myself as covering these songs in any way. They've been covered enough. Buried, as a matter a fact. What me and my band are basically doing is uncovering them. Lifting them out of the grave and bringing them into the light of day.”
As Columba Records Chairman Rob Stringer explains, “There are no strings, obvious horns, background vocals or other such devices often found on albums that feature standard ballads. Instead, Bob has managed to find a way to infuse these songs with new life and contemporary relevance. It is a brilliant record and we are extremely excited to be presenting it to the world very soon.”

Live at Carnegie Hall 1963 is a six-song live set by Bob Dylan. It was released as an EP by Columbia Records in 2005. The songs were recorded on October 26, 1963 at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
