The work of Giorgio Agamben, one of Italy's most important and original philosophers, has been based on an uncommon erudition in classical traditions of philosophy and rhetoric, the grammarians of late antiquity, Christian theology, and modern philosophy. Recently, Agamben has begun to direct his thinking to the constitution of the social and to some concrete, ethico-political conclusions concerning the state of society today, and the place of the individual within it. In "Homo Sacer, " Agamben aims to connect the problem of pure possibility, potentiality, and power with the problem of political and social ethics in a context where the latter has lost its previous religious, metaphysical, and cultural grounding. Taking his cue from Foucault's fragmentary analysis of biopolitics, Agamben probes with great breadth, intensity, and acuteness the covert or implicit presence of an idea of biopolitics in the history of traditional political theory. He argues that from the earliest treatises of political theory, notably in Aristotle's notion of man as a political animal, and throughout the history of Western thinking about sovereignty (whether of the king or the state), a notion of sovereignty as power over "life" is implicit. The reason it remains merely implicit has to do, according to Agamben, with the way the sacred, or the idea of sacrality, becomes indissociable from the idea of sovereignty. Drawing upon Carl Schmitt's idea of the sovereign's status as the exception to the rules he safeguards, and on anthropological research that reveals the close interlinking of the sacred and the taboo, Agamben defines the sacred person as one who can be killed and yet not sacrificed--a paradox he sees as operative in the status of the modern individual living in a system that exerts control over the collective "naked life" of all individuals.

This is the first interdisciplinary collection of essays to address how recent neuroscience affects traditional feminist issues. 《岁时广记》是我国古代岁时记的集大成者，又可以说是我国历史上现存资料最丰富的一本岁时节日方面的类书，同时它还开创了单行本岁时记类书的先例，不仅为我们保存下了许多具有极高的民俗资料价值和认识价值的珍贵资料，还为我们保存了许多亡佚书籍的宝贵资料。

《汉合阳令曹全碑》简称《曹全碑》。东汉中平二年（公元185年），由王敞等人镌立，碑文后王敞等记曹全功绩。明万历初陕西合阳出土。曾保存在合阳县孔庙，1956年移藏西安碑林。碑石高二百五十三厘米，宽一百二十三厘米，隶书，碑阳二十行，每行四十五字，碑阴五列，第一列一行，第二列二十六行。第三列五行，第四列十七行，第五列四行。在明代末年，相传碑石断裂，人们通常所见到的多是断裂后的拓本。《曹全碑》是汉隶的代表作之一，以风格秀逸多姿和结体匀整著称於世。在现有汉碑中，是保存汉代隶书字数较多的一通碑刻。清万经评云：“秀美飞动，不束缚，不驰骤，洵神品也”。孙承汉评其书云：“字法遒秀逸致，翩翩兴《礼器碑》前后辉映汉石中至宝也。

《毛詩正義》現存版本，以日本藏宋刊單疏本爲最優，其餘諸本均從單疏本衍生。蓋諸經義疏經北宋朝廷校訂，即有所謂單疏刻本，成爲後來所有注疏刻本的祖本。然諸經單疏北宋刊本，至今無一部流傳，而《周易》、《尚書》、《毛詩》、《禮記》、《公羊》、《爾雅》六經有南宋覆刻本傳世；《儀禮》單疏南宋刊原本已經散佚，僅存清代覆刻本。在此七經中，《尚書》、《儀禮》、《禮記》、《公羊》、《爾雅》五經，有《四部叢刊續編、三編》、《古逸叢書續編》等影印本，《周易》有三十年代傅增湘影印本及臺灣重印本；唯獨《毛詩》，自一九三六年日本東方文化學院影印之後，多年未得重印，以致國內學者很少利用。
南宋刊單疏本《毛詩正義》國內已經不傳，我們徵得原書收藏者日本武田科學振興財團杏雨書屋的同意，據影印本做四拼一高清影印，并增附四種《毛詩正義》古抄殘卷，讓讀者飽覽秘笈。這是本社繼《日本足利學校藏宋刊明州本六臣注文選》、《舊京書影》之後，從東瀛載回的第三種珍貴漢籍，現精心編輯，呈獻給讀者。

在十九世纪的最后一年，敦煌莫高窟藏经洞发现了四万余卷古代遗书，震动了世界学坛，从此产生了一门国际性的综合学术――敦煌学。在数量浩瀚的汉文卷子中，许多人们前所未闻的人文学作品――变文、曲子词、白话诗等等，又是其中最具特色、最引人入胜的研究材料之一。它使研究者大开眼界，改变了对中国文学史的认识。其中尤以“变文”最先引起中外研究者的癀泛注意。早在五十年前，邓振铎先生就曾说过：在敦煌所发现的许多重要的中国文书裹，最重要的要算“变文”了。在“变文”没有发现以前，我们简直不知道：“平话”怎幺会突然在宋代产生出来？“诸宫调”的来历是怎样的重要问题，都成为疑案而难以有确定的回答。但自从三十年前　斯坦因把敦煌宝库打开了而发现了变文一种文体之后，一切的疑问，我们才渐渐的要以得到解决了。我们才在古代文学与近代文学之间得到了一个连锁。我们才知识宋、元话本和六朝小说及唐代传奇之间并没有什幺因果关系。我们才明白许多千余年来支配着民间思想的宝卷、鼓词、弹词一类的读物，其来历原来是这样的。这个发现现使我们对于中国文学史的探讨，面目为之一新。

《清嘉录》是清代苏州文士顾禄的著作，此书以十二月为序，记述苏州及附近地区的节令习俗，大量引证古今地志、诗文、经史，并逐条考订，文笔优美，叙事详实，有保存乡邦文献的作用，是研究明清时代苏州地方史、社会史的重要资料。

此书10卷,前5卷题为《杂记》。记述仙道异事、民间奇闻,宣扬人生寿夭、官位爵禄乃前知前定:谶语、经文、梦境、道术的灵验神效，多属荒诞无稽之谈。但从中可以了解宋时士大夫的迷信观念及民间习俗。其中也偶有可资参考的史料，如卷四“宗威愍政事”条所记靖康之变后开封物价涨跌情况等。卷六为《东坡事实》，所引诗、文，往往是苏轼诗文集中所没有的，多为辑佚者所取。卷七为《诗词事略》或杂记唐人及本朝人诗词轶事，以本朝为详；或订正前人诗句中错误。卷八、卷九为《杂书琴事》（《墨说》附）、《记砚》，提供了不少有价值的资料。卷十为《记丹药》，则颇有不经之语。此书最初刊入《宝颜堂秘笈》,仅5卷；后毛晋得全本,复收入《津逮秘书》中。但《津逮秘书》本于第9卷仍缺一页，故以后出的《学津讨原》本为最全。卢文□有《春渚纪闻补阙》1卷,收入《抱经堂丛书》。
本书为竖排繁体。

诗话是中国古代评论诗歌、诗人、诗派，记录诗人议论、事迹的著作。写作诗话之风，始于宋代欧阳修的《六一诗话》，盛行于宋代。明、清两代作者也很多。《历代诗话》、《历代诗话续编》、《清诗话》等，辑集了历代重要诗话著作。它作为中国古代的一种独特的论诗的文体，狭义的诗话是指诗歌的话本，即关于诗歌的故事，随笔体，如欧阳修的《六一诗话》，广义的是指诗歌的评论样式，崛起于北宋，是中国古代诗歌体制特别是唐代律诗高度发展的产物，改变了中国古代文学批评原有的格局。
有北京图书馆出版社的此套丛书全书精选上起宋代下迄民国的诗话珍本66种，所选均为学术价值较高，版本珍贵，且民国以来罕见出版、流传较少，世人难以得见之着。其中不但有日本珍藏的宋代版本、多年深藏于图书馆的手抄本，还有国内已经散佚，现仅韩国存有的宋、明两代编着的诗话珍本。书前有编者序及所选诗话版本考。为研究中国的文学理论提供了丰富的资源。
