Slartibartfass是来自德国的一支维金金属/黑金属团，到目前为止仅仅发行过两张正式专辑，算是一支新晋团体。Slartibartfass给我的感觉是嗓子比较邪恶，编曲异常诡异，但他们音乐不失维金金属大气磅薄的特质，是比较值得推荐的一支乐团，送上的是他们去年发行的新专辑《Nebelheim》。

UNKNOWN CONNECTION FAILURE ist eine 6-köpfige Instrumental-Band aus Hamburg. Sie erschaffen Postrock von gewaltigen Ausmaßen – jenseits aller Rock-Klischees. Ihre dynamischen Songs entfesseln sich von konventionellen Song-Strukturen und entfalten sich Stück für Stück zu aufwühlenden Kunstwerken von epischen Tiefe. Driven by laser tight production and carried by the undeniable voice of front-woman Josie Claire Bürkle, Claire’s sound is a child of the internet, its music a pulsating meditation on the modern sonic palate. The Munich-based five-piece will release its debut album The Great Escape June 24th on Astralwerks Records.
The Great Escape features brand new single ‘My Audacity’ plus two singles from Claire’s debut EP Broken Promise Land (released September 2013); ‘Games’, a buoyant anthem to love’s labors which went on to be remixed by Passion Pit and the title track ‘Broken Promise Land’ which was featured in a BMW campaign and was remixed by none other than the godfather of synth-based music, Giorgio Moroder.
A Nylon Magazine 2014 “artist to watch” and top-20 HypeMachine charting act, Claire has toured internationally with Chvrches Bastille, and Capital Cities, and wowed U.S. audiences with high profile performances at CMJ in New York City in October 2013, and at this year’s SXSW in Austin, TX. Additional U.S. tour dates ar on the horizon for later this year.
Most recently the band premiered a brand new video for Giorgio Moroder’s remix of ‘Broken Promise Land’ via Red Bull Music Academy. The ‘My Audacity’ video is coming soon.

i am sitting in front of a sheet of paper. my right hand is bending over my left thumb. the first day i got out of my cast i could bend it by 15°. now i am already at 50° and that makes me happy. things are going uphill…
as you can imagine, it is really bad news for a pianist when he gets diagnosed with a broken thumb. that day i was sitting in the emergency room, feeling rather dizzy while thinking of a zillion shows coming up and all the people involved around it. i realised in that moment how busy things have become. it is hard to turn down interesting projects and opportunities, since i surely love my work. it actually never felt like work. playing piano and playing it for wonderful people is the greatest joy i can imagine.
for a couple of days i felt like this all could be over. how pathetic. but hey – also feeling sorry for yourself has its place somewhere. all of a sudden i had so much time, an unexpected holiday. i cancelled most of my schedule and found myself being a little bored. even though my doctor told me not to touch a piano for a while, i just couldn’t resist. i started playing a silent song with 4 fingers on my left and the remaining 5 on my right hand. i set up one microphone and recorded another tune every other night before falling asleep.
the day i got rid of my cast i had recorded 9 little tunes. they have helped me feel less annoyed about my accident and reminded me that any good is something i can only achieve, when i am making the most out of what i’ve got.

September 20th marks the 30th birthday of Berlin pianist Nils Frahm, but also the day he has chosen to give his fans a special gift in the form of 9 songs he recorded with 9 fingers, entitled ‘Screws’.
Nils experienced an unfortunate accident which saw him fall from his bunk bed located directly above his studio, which resulted in a broken thumb. But through inspiration from his fans and after a gentle walk and talk through the park with a close friend, he decided to deal with the situation in the only way he knew – playing his piano.
With four screws surgically placed inside his thumb, he started recording with his remaining 9 fingers, what later resulted in 9 intimate piano recordings.

Great music for lonely walks, hangovers or just falling asleep.

This is the debut full-length from Berlin-based Anja Schneider, founder of the Mobilee label, respected DJ and radio personality. Touring ceaselessly, Anja has travelled the globe, bringing the Mobilee vibe to clubbers around the world -- now she invites us to travel with her to an unfamiliar setting, Beyond The Valley. Co-produced with Paul Brtschitsch -- with whom she collaborated on the stunning 12" Loop de Mer -- Beyond The Valley is more than a collection of tracks, it's a rich, nuanced statement from an artist ready to open up new worlds and enchanted places where the old rules no longer apply. Titles like "Safari" and "Belize" suggest exoticism, but it goes beyond that: the record harnesses the spooky unknowing of the Brothers Grimm, Pan's Labyrinth, Little Red Riding Hood -- sounding not unlike what modern, city-dwelling mortals know as nightlife, a scene we recreate every weekend, with subwoofers instead of tunneling burrows and with waving arms rather than tree branches. Anja brings that pagan spirit to life in 10 inky, supple cuts. "Mole" sets the tone with tribal drums and snaky reverb trails. Guiros croak like frogs and flashes of melody dart away like salamanders. "Get Away" tiptoes into the shadows in the same way that a good DJ teases her audience over to the other side. But, there's plenty of abandon here as well: check "Little Red Riding Hood," with its urgent, cresting build-ups, or the starry-eyed submission of "Belize," which stakes out a jungle clearing where dancers revel until dawn. The bobbing "Fish At Night" wraps up the album with a new musical direction for Anja, where dubby half-stepping meets bubbling chords in the weightlessness of the deep. The album's title track represents its spiritual heart, where suave timbres temper the unremitting tension, and electronic frequencies fuse with the music of the human voice. Creeping forward on animal paws, you'd have to call it "jungle music," if the name weren't already taken. Whatever you make of this record -- as a sophisticated form of primitivism, or an ascendance of the animal inside all of us -- is up to you.

Emika is the debut studio album by the Bristol-born electronica artist Emika, released in the United Kingdom on 3 October 2011 (in the United States on 11 October) by Ninja Tune.

Munich-based composer and instrumentalist Carlos Cipa presents his second solo LP entitled All Your Life You Walk. The album highlights his strengths in contemporary piano which has been performed and produced in his own Beatshuppen Studio, recorded by himself. Conceived as a concept album, All Your Life You Walk is made up of 15 tracks, whilst each track blends flawlessly from one into the next and should be listened to in its entirety.
