Many are the tales which could be told about Sweden's In Slaughter Natives. Far-reaching would be their influence and impact. When one thinks of this band, a host of images and emotions immediately present themselves. The sounds of fire and brimstone would be one facet to the work of this legendary band. A quieter, introspective ponderance is another. But perhaps the most enduring feel that this band has to me is one of psychosis coupled with a darkness that has never been equalled.
This is the first new album from J. Havukainen (the man who is and always will be ISN) since 1996. I have always savoured each new release he imparts upon the world due to their uniqueness and their uncompromising approach. In Slaughter Natives have broadened their sound for "Resurrection" but not in a pandering or calculated way. They have added new elements (violins and other strings) to their work so as to increase the overall power; never does the blackness abate. Havukainen weaves his tales of deceit and despair with an emotive authority you will not find elsewhere. The cavalcade of doom and the crushing misanthropy are, in themselves, enough reason to buy this album. And yet... there is much hope contained within the passages and dirges of imminent systemic collapse. Catharsis has rarely been so well-concealed.
True, to some, In Slaughter Natives are too abrasive, too despondent, too bleak. To me, they are what those of us who survive the end of life as we know it on planet earth will be listening to non-stop. They are that good.

Their sound combines the Farfisa organ-drenched sound of 60's era garage rock with a contemporary pop thrust. 来自瑞典歌德堡的器乐后摇乐团EF的最新作品，朋友们对这张专辑的评价普遍很高，从年初到现在好像还没有出现一张被广泛关注的后摇大作，这张作品的出现相信定是一剂猛药，会让不少后摇乐迷们欣喜一阵了。话说以重型音乐重镇而闻名的瑞典歌德堡能出产这样气质阴冷音乐轻柔的后摇乐团，还真让人感觉有几分意外的。

Pg.lost是一支来自瑞典Norrköping的4人后摇乐团，成立于2004年。乐队之前曾使用 "Before You Give In" 这个名字，后来因为阵容变化而改用现在的名称。现在的乐队成员包括Gustav Almberg (guitar/keys), Mattias Bhatt (guitar), Kristian Karlsson (bass/vocals), and Martin Hjertstedt (drums).
乐队于05年发行首张同名EP。去年发行第二张EP《Yes I Am》，这张包含了5个作品的小专辑已为Pg Lost的音乐定下了基调~~~没有人声的横加干涉（其实仔细听还是有人声的），没有其他元素的喧宾夺主，只有后摇滚哀愁的描述与盎然的爆发。在后摇井喷的2007年，Pg.lost仅凭借这一张EP就成为了TSB年度50佳后摇唱片之一。
时隔一年之后，Pg.lost终于带来了乐队首张全长专辑《It’s Not Me It’s You》，与EP一样，这张专辑最突出的音乐方向还是传统的后摇滚美学，跌宕起伏，仅仅通过器乐的堆积而达到古典音乐式的宏大与壮阔。
有人说他们的音乐很暴力，我不觉得，我认为Pg.Lost 把后摇的细腻柔美和力量大器结合的非常完美，Pg.Lost 很善于优雅中爆发，但在那一串串听似山洪暴发般的吉他噪音中，Pg.lost的旋律却永远不失柔美，衔接巧妙。对于之前听多了柔美旋律的后摇入门学生而言，当我听到第一首 Pascal's law 时, 很难描述是怎样的一种震撼！之前没听是因为没有好的版本~~~呵呵

著名厄运金属大牌Forest Of Shadows的最新专辑，距离他们上一张作品也已经有好几个年头了。这张专辑我根本还没有来得及听，就第一时间先发布出来了，因为我相信对于每一个爱好厄运金属的人们无不对他们充满着期待。以下介绍纯属凑字“Forest Of Shadows于1997秋成立于瑞典的哈姆斯塔德（Halmstad），最初由于没有合适的人选，尼科拉斯准备把乐队弄成一个人乐队。1998年Jhan Svensson（约翰 斯文森）加入,但不久因理念不合离去。同年Niclas找到了一个志趣相合的朋友 Micce dersson（麦斯 安德森）两个人一起录制了Eternal Autumn. 1999年初尼科拉斯和安德森俩人联系了大名鼎鼎的 Katatonia 并翻唱了他们的Rainroom 。
Forest of shadows是极端残酷的音乐，残酷到把每一块肉每一滴血都晾在可见的地方让自己看清，看清，原来我们是什么？和海岸上的一滩泥或者一片枯黄落叶没什么区别。甚至还不如它们的存在有价值，我活着，可是我什么都改变不了，我唯一能做到的就是保持沉默，有时候这样还要被别人以为是装出一副很酷的样子云云。可以在暗夜中仅用双手托起目空一切上升天际的勇气，这就是它真正极端的地方。
当长笛在万籁俱寂中响起，近乎失真的效果器和撕裂一般的死嗓反复的轰鸣，才让你看到原来自己所在的孤岛，它离大陆是那么那么远，海天之际看不到任何可见的哪怕是浓灰亮白的层迭颜色，唯有一色的黑，找不到任何出口，你唯一能做的是体会自己的恐惧，像呼吸一般无处不在，而又是那么微妙，因为你从前没有任何机会，或者是不会让自己去正视那些。恐惧像海上初开的浓尘迷雾，紧紧拥抱着你曾经的悲凉曾经的荒芜曾经的神殇。”

2003年发表的《Versus The World》已是Amon Amarth的第4作，其中最明显的改变是金属炮火的猛烈度不减反增，连带也使得述说英勇豪迈的维京战士色彩更增添犹如惨烈战役的残酷感，令人震撼不已。
2006年发行的《With Oden on our side》是目前为止乐队的最后一张专辑，这张公认的2006年全佳金属专辑之一。经过十八年的磨砺，Amon Amarth已完全成长为一支成熟、大气、令人激动的维京团。

When a band is named after the Mountain of Doom in Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, you're pretty much guaranteed epic metal at its most extravagant. But despite their lyrical bent (including 'Dungeons and Dragons' titles like 'Ride for Vengeance', 'Victorious March' and 'The Dragons' 'Flight Across the Waves'), Sweden's Amon Amarth eschew the expected Germanic power metal usually associated with such subject matter for brutally intense Scandinavian death metal. Amon Amarth get the job done with plenty of spirit, more than competent songwriting, and excellent musicianship - most notably from future Opeth drummer Martin Lopez. The song which bears the group's namesake is probably the most memorable, as it contains the chaotic noises of battle, the screams of the dying and much sword clashing to boot.
