专辑首支单曲"Look What You Made Me Do"于8月25日以预购单曲的形式发行，歌曲的歌词版录影带亦在当天发布。

8月24日，Taylor Swift首支回归单曲“Look What You Made Me Do”一经释出即轰动全球并宣布Taylor Swift第六张专辑《Reputation》回归消息。首单“LWYMMD”横扫全球99国iTunes榜单冠军，刷新了美国iTunes女歌手登顶速度新纪录。发行当日凭借惊人流媒体量刷新了全球Spotify单日收听历史新绩。稳居Billboard单曲榜榜首之位的“LWYMMD”，成为了继“Shake It Off”，“Blank Space”，“Bad Blood”，“We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together”之后，Taylor的第五支公告牌单曲榜冠军作品。首单创造的惊人成绩仍刷新不断，正式版MV也以首日4300万次观看写下单日点击最高记录。

August 31st to Dec. 6th, 2016 in the same room where Geneviève died, using mostly her instruments, her guitar, her bass, her pick, her amp, her old family accordion, writing the words on her paper, looking out the same window.
Why share this much? Why open up like this? Why tell you, stranger, about these personal moments, the devastation and the hanging love? Our little family bubble was so sacred for so long. We carefully held it behind a curtain of privacy when we’d go out and do our art and music selves, too special to share, especially in our hyper-shared imbalanced times. Then we had a baby and this barrier felt even more important. (I still don’t want to tell you our daughter’s name.) Then in May 2015 they told us Geneviève had a surprise bad cancer, advanced pancreatic, and the ground opened up. What matters now? we thought. Then on July 9th 2016 she died at home and I belonged to nobody anymore. My internal moments felt like public property. The idea that I could have a self or personal preferences or songs eroded down into an absurd old idea leftover from a more self-indulgent time before I was a hospital-driver, a caregiver, a child-raiser, a griever. I am open now, and these songs poured out quickly in the fall, watching the days grey over and watching the neighbors across the alley tear down and rebuild their house. I make these songs and put them out into the world just to multiply my voice saying that I love her. I want it known.
"Death Is Real" could be the name of this album. These cold mechanics of sickness and loss are real and inescapable, and can bring an alienating, detached sharpness. But it is not the thing I want to remember. A crow did look at me. There is an echo of Geneviève that still rings, a reminder of the love and infinity beneath all of this obliteration. That’s why.

Lost And Found is the third album from American metallersMudvayne. This release steers away from the nu-metal scene that they became part of and sees the band mix metal with more commercial sounding rock. It was produced by Ugly Kid Joe's Dave Fortman.

On September 23, 2016, Negative Gemini released her sophomore album Body Work via100% Electronica Records. The album is an intimate journey through Lindsey's transformation from an experimental bedroom pop artist, to one of New York's most promising new talents as a producer and songwriter alike. In the words of Gorilla vs Bear's Chris Cantalini, "French is creating emotional, unmistakably modern electronic pop music that is elevated by a timeless sensibility and uncanny grasp of pop songcraft that seems increasingly rare these days."

First released in 1977, this recording influenced Brian Eno, whose subsequent association with Hassell formed a collaboration with 'Possible Musics'. Within these sparse but exotic textures, you can hear the vocal source of Hassell's unusual trumpet sound as he bends notes into breath-like murmurs. On the raga-like title track, Hassell weaves a long, sinewy trail across the slow percussion of David Rosenboom and Nana Vasconcelos, with a slowly-shifting synthesizer background acting like a minimalist take on a tamboura drone.

Planning for Burial is the musical project of American musician and singer-songwriter Thom Wasluck. Based in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, Wasluck started to perform as "Burial" in 2005 and released the debut album, Leaving in 2009. Wasluck plays all instruments during both his home recordings and live performances.

The National is an American rock band of Cincinnati, Ohio natives, formed in Brooklyn, New York City in 1999. The band consists of Matt Berninger, Aaron Dessner, Bryce Dessner, Scott Devendorf and Bryan Devendorf.
