SOMETHING FROM NOTHING: THE ART OF RAP is a feature length performance documentary film about the runaway juggernaut that is Rap music. At the wheel of this unstoppable beast is the film's director and interviewer Ice-T. Ice-T takes us on a deeply personal journey to uncover how this music of the street has grown to dominate the world. Along the way Ice-T meets some of the remarkable superstars of Rap, from Eminem to Dr Dre, to Snoop Dogg and Kanye West. He exposes the roots and history of Rap and then, through meeting most of it's most famous protagonists studies the living mechanism of the music to reveal The Art Of Rap. This film features unique performances from it's entire cast and does not use any archive material.

In this fascinating documentary, historian Bettany Hughes travels to the seven wonders of the Buddhist world and offers a unique insight into one of the most ancient belief systems still practised today.
Buddhism began 2,500 years ago when one man had an amazing internal revelation underneath a peepul tree in India. Today it is practised by over 350 million people worldwide, with numbers continuing to grow year on year.
In an attempt to gain a better understanding of the different beliefs and practices that form the core of the Buddhist philosophy and investigate how Buddhism started and where it travelled to, Hughes visits some of the most spectacular monuments built by Buddhists across the globe.
Her journey begins at the Mahabodhi Temple in India, where Buddhism was born; here Hughes examines the foundations of the belief system - the three jewels.
At Nepal's Boudhanath Stupa, she looks deeper into the concept of dharma - the teaching of Buddha, and at the Temple of the Tooth in Sri Lanka, Bettany explores karma, the idea that our intentional acts will be mirrored in the future.
At Wat Pho Temple in Thailand, Hughes explores samsara, the endless cycle of birth and death that Buddhists seek to end by achieving enlightenment, before travelling to Angkor Wat in Cambodia to learn more about the practice of meditation.
In Hong Kong, Hughes visits the Giant Buddha and looks more closely at Zen, before arriving at the final wonder, the Hsi Lai temple in Los Angeles, to discover more about the ultimate goal for all Buddhists - nirvana.

Anita Rani and Justin Rowlatt embark on two epic car journeys across China, navigating congested cities and winding mountain roads, to explore how the country's economic growth, symbolised by its booming car industry, is affecting people's lives.
In the first programme, Anita takes the high road through the rich, industrialised cities of the east, driving a Great Wall Haval, the best-selling 4X4 in China. This is the land of billionaires with fleets of super cars, of imitation French chateaux and of high-tech solar hotels. She cruises Beijing with the moneyed young members of the China Supercar club and joins a convoy of 'self-drive' holiday makers on a trip to sacred Mount Tai.
Meanwhile, Justin drives a 'bread van', the loaf-shaped workhorse of the countryside, through China's poor rural hinterland, and discovers that here donkeys are often more common than cars. He visits the 'ghost city' of Ordos and puts his bread van through its paces on China's second-biggest racing track. He joins the Red Tourism trail in Yan'an, the cradle of Mao's communist revolution, and finds himself in the firing line during a dramatic civil war battle re-enactment.

　　本片是罗勃雷纳自导自演之作，片中刻意杜撰出一个英国摇滚乐团Spinal Tap，罗勃雷纳则饰演要为该乐团拍摄纪录片的电影导演马蒂。本片虽然看似纪录片，实则是一部对当代摇滚乐做出尖锐嘲讽的高水准喜剧，导演成功地将一个虚构的乐团台上台下表里不一的嘴脸，以仿纪录片的形式呈现在观众面前。本片还创下一件空前记录片中虚构的Spinal Tap乐团后来在90年代，竟然还找回当时演出的乐团团员，当真举办了几场极成功的演唱会，此外还拍了好几集的电视特别节目！

音乐纪录片《听风的歌》用诗意的镜头和绝美的音乐，记录了冰岛著名后摇乐队Sigur Rós在家乡冰岛小镇上举办的一系列免费演出。一首连着一首的灵魂乐音，飘荡在不论是教堂、废弃工厂、小镇的表演厅还是在空旷无人的荒野寂境。钢琴，木吉他，木贝司，敲击板，提琴，小号，甚至是石块之间的撞击声，这些原始的音色都在Sigur Rós创作下，编织出最接近自然与家乡气息的感觉，打动着上至老人下至孩童的人们或驱车或徒步地纷纷赶往演出场地，将自身放逐在冰岛的边疆。

本部纪录片由三条线索组成，对中国摇滚十年做了一次大回顾。第一条线索由寻找小珂引出。这个曾经是“做梦”乐队吉他手的漂亮男孩吴珂，曾在1990年北京轰动一时。可惊世骇俗的他，却在1996年神秘的消失了。第二条线索是有关“魔岩三杰”的前世今生。这三位在大陆摇滚乐坛中举足轻重的乐手，创造出了一个理想年代。第三条线索则是跟拍在录音棚打工的男孩小畅。当大家跟随镜头来到他的山东老家时，一群农村青年齐声高唱Beyond的《真的爱你》。
正如导演在开篇所言：由一无所有，到冷暖自知，到黑色梦中，大陆的第一代摇滚乐手创造出如流星闪耀的理想年代，旋即遇上MP3和商业主义的大环境，超女也来了，第一代也成为被背弃的一代。但崔健、窦唯、何勇、张楚这群孤独的人一点也不可耻，经历了理想破灭，过来人道出时代的精神状貌；他们如今还是不折不扣完整的音乐家，走在上帝保佑吃饱了饭的人民之前。

《爱上野兽》是部著名演员埃里克·巴纳自己导演的纪录片，讲述了自己同其爱车“野兽”之间长达25年的超乎寻常的情谊。
