闲适，温润，包容，却又充满智慧，这是成都；
凝聚，阳光，恬淡，却又充满跳跃与爱，这是成都的JAH WAH ZOO.
每一座城市之所以被称为城市，必定有它相似的外貌——水泥丛林（Concrete Jungle）。它又何尝不是一座五彩斑斓，妙趣横生的动物园？鳞次栉比的面孔，千奇百怪的灵魂。只是有人在过活，有人在凑活，有人在生活，当然，也有人在狂欢。
从城市的声音进入，看到一群猴子警察（《Monkey Cops》），它们是正义的化身，停留在身上的黑白动画的气息挥之不去，来也匆匆，去也匆匆。仿佛看到贝克街边老旧泛黑的红砖墙，就在这处迷宫中。追逐闹忙，却也激起双耳的运动气息，不愿停滞。
慢慢走在人行天桥，望着两边同行（《两行》）过往的人们，陌生而熟悉，只是仔细延伸，这些天桥似乎没有交点。直到终于面面相觑而视线汇集，嬉笑互猜，才发现真正会相交的不是行路，而是心房。原来每个人都是家人，都是朋友。
索性抛开所有绵绵阴雨（《Byebye Rainyday》），抛开繁忙与阴霾，让内心的阳光冲破土壤，慢慢发芽。
你会得到一个梦。
这个梦没有开始，但也没有坠落。在其中（《In my dreams》）你会找到一条路，只是这条路不是用来行走，而是漫游，并有幸面对面与自己来一场透彻心扉的对唱（《Singing to Myself》）。因为对面的你知道，没有人会比他更了解你，更能读懂你。
这时的你很清静，没有周遭的纷扰，就像一只俯瞰丛林的鸟，望着就像另一个世界的市井街道。但却没有身体的束缚，自由（《Freedom》）飞行，跟着自然和灵魂走，来追逐丛林深处彩虹的尽头。
你看到的，无数的片段，就像玩一个拼贴游戏，来串起一段段线索，引导前行。最终看到一座城堡，七种颜色的光晕从每一扇菱形的琉璃窗中倾泻而出，等待你的是一场迷幻派对。（《Sweet Jah》）
梦醒时分，阳光斜斜的洒在最温暖的角落，那是家的味道（《阳光最灿烂的地方就是我的家》）。因为闻到了最质朴的气息，最清新的空气和最安全的呼吸。这种感觉身临其境，这种快乐无与伦比。有人说，家最美的片段，是用来想的，而不是用来回的。也许吧。
终于在丛林中找到这片绿洲，扑面而来。遇到了所有随遇而动的朋友们，而每一个人都做好了更亲近地拥抱这个世界的准备，似乎是一场约会，期待之余始终洋溢着一丝浪漫。只是大家等了很久，面对着的这把在门上的钥匙也很久没有扭动的痕迹。（《Track One》）
打开大门，那是另一番景象——六十年代的牙买加舞厅，在尼格瑞尔（Negril Jamaica）的山顶，海边的夕阳伴随着朗姆酒的味道徐徐落入另一半世界，似乎与另一半世界的星空做了一笔美丽的交易。伴随着从浪漫到陶醉到微醺，却始终跳着SKA舞的人们。（《Hash》）
感谢Maria（《Maria》），这位始终陪伴着我们的老朋友，让我们看到了另一个宇宙。但是却看不到她，唯一和她的交流只是音乐的语言，内心不露声息的故事。
一切的一切，从丛林中来，又到丛林中去。我们只是一种动物，一种为丛林带来狂欢的动物。为此而生，从未停止。（《Zoo Party》）

专辑历经几载积累，记录的只是乐队每一个人内心最纯净感性的东西，就像《两行》表达的那样，平行的最初，却因为打开的内心探索而最终找到了这把钥匙。
想想Reggae最本身的意思，就是那些质朴的，平淡的，生活的故事和想法；但真正找到这种感觉，而放下一些所谓的东西，却又何其珍贵，何其不易。
遇到的乐队每一个人，他们给予的是那种不可抗拒的真实，嬉笑怒骂。以及让人尊重的亲和力和自知的距离感。不管对人，对音乐，对工作还是对生活。
所有水泥丛林的事情，最终还是回到人本身，难道不是么？

"She's Millie Small, vivacious, bubbling, singing sensation from the land of sunshine and calypso," the sleeve notes explain. Not that there was really any need for an introduction, for indeed the tiny, vivacious Jamaican singer had taken Britain by storm, launching the Blue Beat boom and rocketing ska into the U.K. chart with her debut U.K. single "My Boy Lollipop." An album was the obvious next step, and Small set about recording with all the excitement of a child set loose in a candy store. And, in a way, that's exactly what the 16-year-old was. Her exuberance positively bleeds from the grooves, you can just about hear her grinning. Across ten covers and two co-written numbers, Small belts out the songs, with the backing sessionmen blending in big band sounds all set to an insistent jumped-up beat. And that was what it was really all about. So whether she's covering
Fats Domino
's "I'm in Love Again,"
Neil Sedaka
's "Since You've Been Gone," or the old folk song "Tom Hark," it's all ska, pure and simple, and the album never flags. Most of the songs are suitably fluffy, and generally about boys, of course, from "Blue Louey" to "Sweet William," and on to "Sugar Dandy," where Small reaches unimaginable heights of ecstatic shrillness. And while that shrill, adenoidal voice was charming on a single, it can become a little wearing across an entire album. However, the Blue Beat Girl, as she was known, is working so hard to make us like her -- it seems cruel to complain -- and for fans this was a sheer firecracker of a record.

Rebelution is a reggae / rock group from Santa Barbara, California. The group, formed in 2004, originally consisted of the vocalists and guitarists Eric Rachmany and Matt Velasquez, keyboardist Rory Carey, drummer Wesley Finley, and bassist Marley D. Williams, three of which were attending UC Santa Barbara at the time of formation.[citation needed] Shortly after the release and of their debut album, Matt Velasquez left the band in order to pursue personal interests in his own side project called Drum Major Instinct.
